The Wanyama and Hooper sales wont be in these accounts. The accounts are from 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013. Wanyama was sold after than and so will Hooper be, they'll be in next years accounts.

Hooper is definitely a better finisher and footballer than all of the players you have mentioned.

Being an England fan I really hope he does get called up. Although I'm still * off he is leaving! He could of been a legend.

Id guess last years accounts will be round about

Ticket sales and other matchday income £25million
    CL money £22million
    Merchandise income £15million
TV(non European) and Sponsorship income £10million
    Players sold £6million

    About £76million

Just a rough guess. It will be around the record figure if not more and that isnt including the sales of Hooper and Wanyama as they werent sold in that financial year. Only transfer income in that time will be Ki sold and any loan fees for Murphy and Bangura.

hooper could have been a legend here for sure but he will still be remembered in history as the last ever player to score in an old firm match

He was also the most prolific Derby and European goalscorer since Larsson.

He'll be remember as a good player for Celtic and that's all he ever was going to be remembered like.

He's in the bracket with Skippy.

Rarely do I ever complain about the board and I know the financial situation of the club - that we buy low and sell high - but surely this time, this £5m or so is all going on a centre forward ?

There must be plenty of money available to spend.

    Could have been a legend

Good luck to him though. He`ll get at least 18-20 goals imo and will be with that crowd in Brazil next year. That's what he wanted

Similarly I'd never be one to slate fiscal responsibility but if we don't spend some money on quality up top this window there will be some answers being searched by a number of people.

It doesn't have to be £5 million ona transfer but we HAVE to outlay a fair financial package on someone who is at least semi-proven at some level.

I'm saying he'll get 15 goals in the league, probably a few more in the cups. Called up to the England squad and he'll score a few in the WC aswell.

Id rather he stayed, but in a way Ill be glad if he goes to Norwich. He'll get the chance to shut up a lot of EPL fans who think he can only score in the SPL.

He only scored 7 European goals, but for derby games you're right.

    7 in 19 games though.

More prolific than Samaras 11 in 37, McDonalds 5 in 24, Suttons 16 in 44, Hartsons 6 in 32 or Vennegoor, Zurawski, Miku, Bangura, Miller or any other striker.
