    The word is "where".

Try typing in the English language and not in text speak. Read the rules!

the BBC results programme "pundits" Craig Patterson i think it was and Stewart Houston looked stunned when discussing it so much so the Dundee utd manager Stuart Houston said "i didn't see it" maybe he didn't but his job in the studio is to watch and comment on the match.Patterson said it was a good goal

    Taken from FIFA's official rulebook:

A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball
touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee,
    involved in active play by:
    • interfering with play or
    • interfering with an opponent or
    • gaining an advantage by being in that position

The alleged "offside" player wasn't doing ANY of the 3 things mentioned, therefore the goal scored by McArthur should have stood.

That's at least 4 goals wrongly chopped off against Scotland's Shame this season! And 6 for us! :56: 9 goals wrongly in the Huns favour......that's why we're paranoid.

What other Association on EARTH requires the referee's permission to appeal against his own prior decision or not? Can you imagine the chaos if they tried to implement that kind of system in England? You'd be investigated for suggesting it in in Italy.

Even the SPFA - not exactly the most historically impartial bodies - has had to act. You know what I say? Strike action.

Can you beleive this backward, incompetant liar Smith is one of the major decision makers in world football? No wonder football is going to the dogs.

Mo Edu bagged a first-half winner, Allan McGregor made a world-class save and linesman Steven Craven wrongly flagged to disallow James McArthur's late strike
