That is a nice combo. Prefer Lamb to the Chicken, though.:50:

Just off Wellington Square, along from Cecchinis.

Up the Sandgate and straight through the wee roundabout...about 100 yards along on your left.

Not a big fan of Indian food however i do like a saag aloo if we're having one. It's pretty plain, just spinach and potato, but it's nice.

The chicken tikka chasni is a nice alternative to the korma if you want something tasty and mild.

Indian food is so much better in England than up here, me and the missus absolutely love indian food but we're yet to find anywhere that's close to the curries we had down south.

I mind being on a course down Birmingham way and being told by everyone that we were in the curry-capital. We ate out at three of the supposedly best indian resturants over the fortnight... all were dissapointing!

Anyhoo... my favourites would be either veggie dhansak or mixed veggie sambar with pilau rice and a peshwari naan.

Indian food in Glasgow in generally and the surrounding area in generally *. Oily, stodgy garbage that is usually just cooked chicken added to a diffeent colour/flavour of sauce. The two exceptions I've been too are the Wee Curry shopy on Byres Road and Mother India near Kelvinhall. I've heard good things about Akbar's too.

I've never for a curry in Birmingham. A lot of people i've asked say that Leicester is actually the curry capital!
I'll have to try them then. I don't mind having to travel about if the food is gonna be worth it!

    Henrik Larsson (obvious choice ehh?)
Mirchi Korma (not mild but not burning hot), pilou rice and a couple of poppadoms.

Priyas Palace in Greenock - fantastic Indian restaurant - one of the best I have ever been to. They always incorporate alot of spices and claim to use alot of family recipes. They are always willing to cook stuff outwith the menu for you aswell.
