Suppose with him being quite young, there was the opportunity of having a better quality of life for him and his family initially, before he even considered going to europe.

Yeah, the fact that people aren't harassed is a big selling point. Boca legend Guillermo Barros Schellotto went to Columbus and a bunch of people were going "... who the * would trade Buenos Aires for Columbus? Does he know where he's going?" But he came out later and said that he picked that place purposely because it's middle America where nobody recognizes him and he can live a normal life with his family as opposed to worrying about people getting kidnapped back in Argentina.

As well as better money, in most probabilty.

Also, America is a leading country for anyone in any profession to retire to imo, having visitied several times.

Seen him play in the MLS. Thats all anyone has to form their opinion. The standard of general play isn't great.

The lads only 22 and seems to have scored wherever he's played. He also didn't seem to take long to adapt to the MLS from his previous club and he won newcomer of the year. Seen a good few MLS games and the standard of play aint great but its not the worst and there are a few good players palying there
