Need to play him through the middle. If we play him out wide we might aswell get rid of him now, he is not a winger as was proven by his best years with Arsenal and Sweden being when he played in the center. As soon as he was moved out wide at Arsenal he became almost completely ineffective and pretty much dropped of the radar

from parkhead glasgow but now live in merseyside

i would rather see a young guy who has bags of talent and raw energy who is just coming into his game than a guy who is the wrong side of 30 and has not got the legs like young forrest

    give youth a chance

I dont get people saying hes 'too old' and 'doesn't have the legs'. Now I'm not gonna say that Ljungberg is better than Moravcik but was Moravcik not about the same age when he joined us? Until Ljungberg has a full game - I dont know, how anyone can judge him to 'not have the legs', whenever I've seen him Berwick, DU, Athletico, last night he has looked very sharp and fast at getting to the ball and even with the ball, keeping in mind he was not fully fit at Berwick and Dundee U, so now maybe we can see what he has to offer!

If Ljungberg has signed for Ran%£rs, he would have been their star signing, he's great to have in the squad for us.

I think Ljungberg is a class act even though he is getting on a bit, there is still plenty to get out of him yet.

I love the way he can take defenders out of play, even when he is not on the ball and his touches and passing are first rate. would love to see more of him. :50:
