I actually think we're getting the best of Brown out there.

Thought Freddie looked alright when he came on, can't comment too much until we see more of him but little glimpses of what he's capable of.

Many fans say give the young guys a chance, I say give Ljungberg a chance he will get results, drop Brown.

Besides Mulgrew Broony has probably been our most improved player, as much as I want to see Freddie do well in the hoops you can't go dropping a Captain who's found form just so we can see if Freddie's still got consistency.

play freddy as an impact sub. he'd probably be glad not to have to run up and down wing all day at his age

I think he should be used as a second half sub but bring him on when were winning (is that still an impact sub?), he is an experienced player and when were knocking the ball around keeping possession he will shine.

Mulgrew gave away a penalty after the player walked by him, more or less, and as for Brown he is still an imposter!

think he done fine when he came on made an immediate impact and got the penalty shame Hooper went and missed really, but I think if Freddie were given a more creative role although it did seem like everything in the end was getting passed to him in the end, he would do well.

Based on form he should be starting ahead of Forrest and Commons just now.

I'd start him at the weekend.

what form is that exactly, a no pressure friendly against bilbao is not enough to convince me, but he should be coming on with at least 30 mins left to show if hes still got it

i think freddie should start against st mirren.....purely on the basis that in a celtic shirt i dont know what he's capable of because he hasnt played enough. i'd give freddie the first half on saturday and i'd give commons the second, and i'd tell forrest to lose a bit of weight. he looks like the mighty atom fae roy of the rovers.

More based on the fact Commons and Forrest aren't at their best whilst Ljungberg is straining at the leash to show what he's got.

Forrest is young and can be excused but I reckon a lot of fans will start to get on Commons back very soon, he has a languid style akin to that of Samaras and when things aren't going well those are the players the fans jump on.

fair enough mate, but i think commons should get the shout just now based on the majority of his games he's good, if he continues to underperform in future games sub him for one of the other two, i just think we should back him after his great start at the club

I thought he done well last night, he was composed and intelligent on the ball. He's a calm head when the pressure is on and his experience on the football pitch is very valuable to us.

Looked good when he came on but as I have posted on another thread he clearly dived for our second penalty, Lenny should tell him he isn't Steven Naismith so he shouldn't start that * while he's here.

I have mentioned this before. He is a expert in getting freekicks and penaltys. Always been. Hes famous for it in the national team and im not a fan of that but every team in the world got this type of players unfortunally..
