I dont agree, what we should do is now sell Forster and Hooper. Forsters clean sheets were down to the outstanding defence he had in front of him. (Remember when we were worried we couldnt replace Caldwell? Well Loovens , Maj and Wilson put everyones mind at ease) and Hoopers goals were down solely to the midfield so...

Lets punt them and go for a radical 0.4.7 formation. Just a thought. Maybe the posters who go on FM or whatever its called will be able to consider it more.:86:

I've spent a lot of time on here this year sir and without a doubt, that is the funniest thing I've read yet.

If I wasn't on an iPad you'd get a standing ovation gif.

Which is less * than it sounds.

I don't know why people decry Forsters part in the clean sheet record at the same time as saying it's a team effort, apparently the man who is employed as the last man of defence, to keep the goals out doesn't do a thing when it comes to keeping the goals out?

Him doing this 3 years in a row for 2 different clubs doesn't show progress and is just a massive coincedence?

As much as I am happy that he is basically a Celtic player now he hasn't been tested properly on the european stage I.e champions league.

I know its only one game but his performance away to Udinese was one of the best displays I've seen from a Celtic goalkeeper

Boruc against Man United, Boruc against Benfica, Boruc against AC Milan....

Basically any Boruc Champions League performance. Boruc was something special on the big stage! If Fraser can kick on from his performance in Udinese and do it again I will be extremely happy because his double save against Di Natale (one of the best finishers in the world IMO) was something out of this world.

Fair point, in Europe we were spoiled with boruc. If Forster continues this level of improvement though he's going to be special and for anyone to say hes untested in Europe is just false. Di natale being a fine example.

It's also interesting how some dismiss his role in the clean sheets record, yet keep slating our defense and how bad it is and how we urgently need to sign better players.

It all just doesn't add up.

Exactly my point, the way people go on about Forster getting those records you think we would have AC Milans legandry defence of Cafu, Stam, Nesta and Maldini.

See, this gets me riled up, no offence but when people say stuff like this. A few people complain about Gary Hooper (who is quite clearly the second coming of Christ himself) just because he hasn't done it on the biggest stage.

Can I ask, how the cocking fuckwank were Forster & Hooper meant to "do it" in the Champions League, when none of their teams have ever been good enough to qualify for that competition?

No worries anyway, we'll qualify this year, and you'll all see how good they are :50:

Can you read? Are you blind? I quite clearly said "footballer" mate
