    Have you forgotten the debacle of last summer!!! When we hawked our club to most of the free keepers and ended up going back for FF...

    We need to get this right, FF will be a great signing for us for years to come. Gordon is a good keeper, but very unreliable injury wise.

    If he wanted to stay then I think he wouldve signed long term last season.

    The 3rd choice England keeper plays in the English 4th division and shows you how much regard the SPL is in down south.

    I would let him go and bring in Gordon, he is a far more accomplished goalie and has played at a higher level than Forster likely ever will (International and Premier League). However is Gordon reliable given his injuries in the past?

    I would only want Gordon on a pay as you play basis . His wages would be sky high and we can't afford to be paying him to be sat at home .

    Why is this taking so long to sign him or for him to reject?
    We should put a deadline and tell him to give an answer by a certain date!

    Aye we know that, but is there not a certain timeline in which we need to have him signed up for before the £2million clause gets thrown out the window then Newcastle can play hardball with the Price Tag.

    I really don't think the big man wants to stay(keeping his options opened he said before) or else he would have asked to get signed up before the loan deal finished up Imo

    As far as I know the players are on holiday exscept those on International duty, so I'm not sure where all the panic is coming from. By now Lenny will have a pretty good idea if Fraser will sign or not and will be preparing for the worst case scenario.

    Officially not a Celt just now then. Gordon in foresters had his chance.

    It's not panic, it's more he's been here for 2 seasons on loan and should know whether he is staying or not and probably should have given us an answer by now due to the fact we have champions league qualifies to prepare for and we need a keeper who will be here ealry and get to know the team better if Forster says no!

    Not only are the players on holiday but the agents also - Lenny has said his agent is back on Wednesday and he's hoping for progress then...

    The fee has already been agreed and hopefully the personal terms have been sorted as well, or very close to it - once the process begins it should all happen very quickly!!!

    Hopefully FF will be a permanent Hoop by the end of next week! If not I think we all know Lenny has alternatives!

    Either way, don't panic!!! :icon_mrgreen:

    Yeah but everyone is getting desperate and that is exactly what he wants. It's not about if he has decided yet or not. It's about him getting the most money possible out of the deal, which he is going to get, with all concerned becoming as desperate as the people on this forum.

    [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transfer_window"]Transfer window - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

    On wiki it says it runs from 1st July to 31st of August.. although there is no evidence to back it up.
