Proof that Big Fraser can jump and get above a group of players....

he needs to do it in his own box.

Hopefully our defence will become settled and the big man can start a great run of clean sheets.

He's been fairly useless so far this season. Needs to start turning up.

Got away with 2 blunders last night, all through not coming and commanding his area. Matthews bailed him out with a clearance off the line, and then the crossbar came to his rescue. At 6ft 7, he should be taking, man, ball, the whole lot. But he looks very uncomfortable when he steps off his line.

Was very hesitant, that something keepers cannot be. He wont get away with that in the CL

I think you'll notice he actually came out his box a couple of times last night. One of the punches was dodgy as * n got cleared of the line but hey, at least he's listening to what the fans have been saying (n obviously the coaching staff will have drilled him about it) he's defo still a bit shaky but will start playing better when our defence figures its self out.

    hail hail !!

I said to Sean 67 last night, only time you seen his assured calmness that he displayed last season was the one he caught at the end, probably when it was the single one he needed to catch.

He seems to be able to deal with that type better. The high diagonal ball that gives him time to come and collect.

His problem is the more direct ball into the 6 yard box from corners or throw in's.

The one that came off the bar is a prime example. He looked totally lost, and like a big numpty tbh.

The one from the throw in was a case of "should I stay or should I go". Had he made up his mind early, it would have been a simple catch I think. Just gald it didn't cost us, because that would have all but ended the tie had it gone in.

Yeah, I had that one in mind when I was saying I wouldn't be too hard on him :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

He has the potential to be one scary *. As I've said previously on here, the man must be somewhere around the 10ft mark when he's jumping with his arms stretched up.............how the * can ANY player in the world compete against that?

For me, this is the one part of his game he is still lacking in confidence. I think it may possibly be down to the fact that he may be a bit too "nice" of a guy. He really needs to get mean as * - go right through opposition players AND your own * if needs be for you to go and dominate. I think a wee few sessions with Bobo Balde teaching him how to treat others players like wee * physically would sort him out.

Honestly, if he sorts this out, he will be the complete player.

Foster is carrying an injury , his right hip I think? Why is he always practising kicks at half time? Is it to keep the joint free- always kicking with his right foot? Or is it just me!

Forster is a good goalkeeper, but not a great goalkeeper yet. Got a lot to improve on, for example commanding his area, coming for crosses and his kicking.

is there any way he could get the side affects of roids (roid rage) without actually taking the steroids ?

unfortunately for us, Fraser, like many big guys, is probably a mild mannered gentle giant. Some tall people tend to be less vocal as a way to compensate for their physical presence. In saying that, if he had that vocal command of his area then he would probably have been snapped up by another club.

We got a really good keeper at a great price........ if he can learn to control HIS defence then a bigger richer club will come calling.

Very true. I just think he's often culpable for not dealing with crosses and loose balls in the area (for example the first goal away at Karagady) when he should be coming and being commanding and clearing out anything in front of him. Strikers should be * themselves expecting him to come and take their heads off.

The rumblings around his future sound an awful lot the silly posturing late last season with all the talk of Hooper and Wanyama leaving.

How much do you suppose this lad is worth?

Also ... you know what I've noticed here on TC? A few years ago, the prospect of selling *any* of our players was met with a lot of criticism. It's amazing how the very same people have finally understood the realities of our beloved club. Every club is a selling club ... it's just gotta be the right price.

I'm chuffed with his performances this season.

For the most part he's been *-poor so IMO fewer teams will be convinced by him on recent form to put in a bid. If it means he stays another season or at least through our CL campaign I'll be chuffed.

But he needs to get back to match sharpness!

You can't instill that, some people are just quiet, we have a keeper at our club like that. I'm quiet but emotional, i don't mind getting aggressive if i have to, i just don't think FF has it,, he's a big softie.

I think he was a bit suspect for the free kick
