I agree with a lot of your points, he was progressing well but has been inconsistent. Saw this video of the keepers in training, looked sharp:

Very good number 1 in my opinion and still young. Some great performances this season. Capable of some blunders and sometimes doesn't seem very commanding- the St Mirren game springs to mind with the mix up between him and Wilson- happened up at Ross County as well. Overall though, I don't think we can do much better. Knows how to save a penalty too :celt_2:

yeah, i was actually quite surprised by Forster's agility in the vid, he often looks a wee bit dopey in games.

Presents a tricky situation Forster. On the one hand I do believe Celtic have to cash in on players when they are at their 'peak' value in Scotland and Celtic could easily get £9m for Forster.

However, we have always struggled to buy decent keepers, apart from Boruc and Forster, the goal-keeping situation at Celtic has been dire since about 1990.

Forster is slightly overrated, I agree that. He is the best keeper in Scotland, there is no doubt about it,however he is not a keeper who exudes that natural ability, he looks like someone who has to put in lots of time and effort in order to better himself (not entirely a bad thing).

If Forster is as good as a lot of people think, then during this transfer window there should be 'big' clubs coming in for him, yet I doubt they will. Mid table clubs will place offers.

Everyone here should know that before all else this club by its own admission is a selling club

Speaking as a Goalkeeper...you guys have to remember he is still young for a goalkeeper, our best years are definitely late 20's early 30's and onwards. At his age the "silly" goals are normal. Funny how we never go on and on and on about silly mistakes made by outfield players on a more regular basis but i supposed i'm biased. Cut him some slack he's developing well and has been great value for money. If I'm honest i wasn't his biggest fan in his first season but definitely see an improvement and this will continue cos you can see he is learning and developing his trade...... Defo keep him unless we are offered silly money !!

This goes to any fan tht thinks our manager or players are irreplaceable... If there was life after Stein then there most certainly will be life after Lennon and a more up to date example if there was life after Larsson then there will be life after any these players too. No one player is bigger than Glasgow Celtic and the minute a player thinks they are its time to pull the plug on their time here.

Good video that, certainly working him hard. Think he's a big confidence player, with age you would think it would grow and he will keep improving. On form he is a cracking goalkeeper but off form you can see he doesn't command his area enough. Going to be some keeper by the time he peaks though.

If he were to leave, i'd love to get Alex Mc Carthy but doubt if he'd move to Scotland, could see him getting a transfer to one of the big english clubs.

I think his form dipped a wee bit and that's why he's not in the England squad. Certainly seems to be back on track after yesterday's game.

Big Fra has been excellent this season for us, kept us in games a good few times, I don't even need to begin talking about the Barca games lol. He hasn't really made that many proper, hilariously bad mistakes that I can remember in his time here? Every keeper will make them once in a while but he hasn't really tbh. A few slips here and there but you won't find a keeper anywhere who is absolutely flawless every single game. The injury he sustained a wee while back will have hindered him getting back to his best form again for sure. He is only what, 24 ffs. Looking forward to see how good he is in 5-10 years.

Not too sure, Jack Butland has played for England and he is yet to play a game in the EPL. And yeah, they might not even qualify.
