The neck injury could not have come at a worse time this season, except perhaps around the time of the Barcelona game. But this was arguably more important than the game in November.

 

I would say barca was more important as without that win we wouldn't have been in last 16

On the other hand though, we've never been to the quarter finals of the European Cup since it was rebranded as the Champions League.

 

Good save from a header as well. If Zulaska was in goals today it would have been 6-5

I think he's gone off the boil a bit after coming back from injury .That dundee goal that was disallowed in the first 5 mins was very harsh and it saved his blushes because he made a howler. A few times in recent matches he's been slow off his line and his kicking wasn't great today either.

 

Hasn't been the same since that neck injury. We were lucky that Dundee goal was offside.

Still love him though.

 

Anyone (ILTC in other words) have his updated overall stats now?

Interested to see how many clean sheets he has kept in the last couple of seasons.

 

That save in the second half was impressive.

The ball was behind him before he got a touch on it.

 

Looked shakey at the start, especially for their chalked off goal. Saved him some embarrassment and criticism though.

Need him back to his best asap.

 

His save from the deflected Harkins shot will do him the world of good

I was delighted to see him pull off a great save from the deflected Harkins effort. I think he needed a save like that to lift his confidence! I thought he was very lucky to get away with the goal that got chalked off. The boy is definitely offside, but he was nowhere near getting a foot on the ball and to say he was blocking Forster's view would be very generous IMO.

 

I was listening to talk sport the other morning and the presenters were on the subject of England keepers and how they were delighted Ben Foster had done a u turn and now wanted to be considerd for England again.
One of the presenters said it was great news as at the moment they have no one to push Joe Hart and went on to name the keepers below him in the pecking order.
When they got to Fraser Forster one of the presenters said he thought he was good but the other guy jumped in and said he's only had one good game against Barcelona and went on to say "lets be honest it's a pub league" and he could play in goal for Celtic"
To say I was raging was an understatement!
