Kello interrupted a Hearts press conference to tell the media that he wouldn't move to Celtic because he knows he would be resigned to the bench.

 

They way Forster is playing now and continuing to improve 1000s of people see the fact that he SHOULD get considered for an England call up sometime in the future. Unfortunately with this though, and as Shane has already mentioned, would he even GET considered because the English see the SPL as a diddy league?

Look what happened with Thompson - he EVENTUALLY got a call up but only played once and that was only for about 60 mins. The media branded him as not good enough even though (from what I can remember) he hardly got a kick of the ball so how that was his fault I'll never know.

Even the way Sutton was playing for us he should have been called on but never even got a look in.

I would love for Forster to get a call up sometime in the future if he keeps improving because it would be excellent for the player and he would deserve it. If he doesn't get a call up then from a selfish point of view it would be OUR gain and England's loss. England can't look past their own league to recognise excellent players outside it, though, so * them

 

He is Celtic's best ever clean-sheet Keeper, keeping clean sheets in 55% of his games, higher than the 2nd best Rab Douglas 53%, Ronnie Simpson 48% and 4th Artur Boruc 44%.

 

I want him to stay hes been brilliant this season, but does Forster want to stay a think hes trying to get a deal with a prem club hope not though

 

i said this about 7 months ago, to give Newcastle there money, get the deal done but what was coming back was Celtic had the first offer, what where they waiting for, ( 1) he failed as a keeper, or (2)he was going to be good we all ready seen glimpse of his game and the deal could have been done and dusted, but as it stands its now a case of "frank" going to get a better offer, on wages that we cant match. so he will be off

 

Far from the best ever keeper though. Clean sheets are as much about the defence, any keeper will tell you that. He's done well this season and i think we should try and sign him but i wouldn't be devastated if he left, to be honest.

 

Yeah, thats a good point. Coz our defence has been outstanding since Forster has been here. It really has, guys like Loovens, Big Dan, Cha, Hooiveld and big Kelvin Wilson have been outstanding for us in this period.

Seriously though, that isnt an argument is it? Our defence has been very shaky in the last couple of seasons. He isnt the best keeper, but the facts are there to see. He doesnt have as big a personality as some keepers we have had in the past, but at his age, his an almighty prospect.

At the same age, Beast was playing in a lower league with St Johnstone.

 

Wasn't a fan of him last season but he's came on leaps and bounds this season, and he seems to really love it here.

His performance in Italy was Artur Boruc esque, think that's the highest compliment I can pay him.

See if we dont get him ill be raging. He's gonna be world class imo.
