me aswell, im just trying to use it to point out a fact, if you no what i mean, have a look over the stokes thread, people who think we should get rid are being maid to look stupid, ie well done just get rid of the best striker we have at the club, but the same people are saying selling forster is a good deal :56:

As the man says. We would be getting rid of Stokes for very little money. If someone were to offer us £10m nobody would be arguing to keep him.

The difference with Forster is that he has always been good enough to move on and go get himself more money. This is probably not the case with Stokes.

i dont have a problem with gordon infact if he stays fit he could do well, just find it weird fans are happy to see him go, and it can only be for the money, as its defo not for football terms, and thats exactly what most fans are unhappy with the board with

Well we have gordon and zaluska as replacements and as keepers go they are good enough for splfplf and gordon will be good enough for euro.

But selling stokes just now who gives us 20+ per year and all we have waiting in the background is....balde/the fridge and pukki who we still have yet to see if he will come good could really bite us in the *.

Im going to guess celtic are not even thinking about strikers this window.

I can see your logic, but there's as well.

Selling Stokes and selli g Forster is a completely different argument altogether though - for starters, nobody is making offers for Stokes, so we cannie sell.

Forster wants to leave, and we will be banking our second highest transfer fee for a player who is replaceable, imo.

Like the £9m we got for Mcgeady, this £££ could allow Deila to now build his own team.......I personally don't think it's an entirely bad thing.

Gordon at his best can produce the saves Forster can - obviousky our medical staff are happy that his body js i good nick, or else we wouldnt have signed him

A bench warmer who was under the eyes of a manager who talks one pile of pish and claims he doesn't rate spl based players but his number 1 played for Falkirk and wanted scott brown

A bench warmer who has the respect from the best players in the world who have came up against him after his heroics in European football

A bench warmer who is now an England internationalist a

A bench warmer who is now going to play in a league that he warmed the bench for 10 million pounds

I'll await your reply about the bench warmer

as ive said my problem is not with the big man leaving, or gordon being no1 , but i do have my doubts with that, its the fact so many fans are happy see him go, would they be happy if the deal was 6 million, i dont think so,,, 9 million makes no difference, as i dont think the manager will see any of it, and thats a worry for me. how many major players have we lost and replaced like for like, or even showed ambition and bettered ourselves ? none for a long time .
