Wilson is an improvement but yeah it's more firepower we need:50:

I would happily sign ALF and a big target man, get shot of Murphy and Sammy:50:

I hope this is true. Nothing wrong with a loan with an option to buy, we aren't stuck with him if things dont go well.

The important thing to remember is that loan deals are quicker to process, remember we are trying to beat a deadline so he can play in the Europa League. He is ours if we want to buy, I'd rather wait to see if he can maintain/improve last season's form before shelling out £2m to Newcastle. I dont have a problem with him still being technically a Newcastle player, he'll be a Celtic player if he's good enough.

Style of play, the hun style of play is better for defenders and keepers as they are defence minded, rarely get opened up and their Keepers rarely have to come off their line and there are hundreds of good 6 yard box Keeper.

Celtic are a more adventurous team, often leave our defence exposed and our keepers have to command the whole area and often have to come out 1 on 1.

You could say the same about the huns, why do they not have lots of great forwards? because theyve never been a very attacking team.

From the 70s to now we've had Dalglish, Hood,, Macari, Deans, Lennox, McCluskey, McGarvey, MacAvennie, McClair, Johnston, Nicholas, Van Hooidjonk, Cadete, Di Canio, Moravcik, Larsson, Sutton, Hartson, Bellamy, Keane etc

They've had Stein, McCoist, Hateley, Johnstone, MacDonald, Wallace, Negri, Mols, Flo, Prso, Jelavic.... absolutley nowhere near the quality of forwards we've had.

This is great news imo, I'm relieved that Zaluska wont be playing against Sion. It's good that we've got the option to buy him as well, though I wonder if he's just a stop-gap while we wait and see if we can get Gordon next season?

No one should underestimate how important continuity is. It's a massive bonus that Forster was here last year, it means he will just fit right back into our squad without having to adjust. He knows the players and he knows the language.

C'mon Foster is a far better keeper than Zaluska. If Foster can even improve a wee bit from last year ill be more than happy because he didn't do a * of a lot wrong.

happy with forster tbh, and if gordon's contract runs out this time next year, then try snap him up on a pre-contract in january, if not, we might have to either go for forster at the end of the season, or find another i guess! but i think forster will do

Forster barely put a foot wrong last season. The fact that you don't notice him is a good sign. Zaluska on the other hand looks incredibly dodgy every time a cross comes in and his positioning is woeful.

Much better than him. Better all round and Forster actually has good goalkeeping ability. I dont even think Zaluska is a professional footballing goalkeeper.

I think Zaluska would win us more points than Forster would tbh. All Lukasz needs is a few games to get some confidence:50:

    Which season were u watching?

Gifted kenny miller a goal in the first OF game
Got sent off for a needless tackle on naismith in the cup quarter finals
Let in a goal during the cup final that even my 91 year old granny could have saved.

Never did his job during the big games where we needed him

    Zaluska would lose us points.

He's far too stiff to be a goalkeeper, rooted to the spot all the time and has no flexibility to save a freekick thats on target, his handling of the ball is suspect he always drops the ball and so on.

Forster is a good solid reliable goalkeeper.
