Fortune is worse than Samaras, it should have been fortune getting most of the stick Samaras gets. * knows why Samaras is chosen as the scapegoat, he isn't a very good player, but neither are many others in our team.

I thought he'd be good... Like in the John Hartson kinda mould! Pushing defenders around in the box, acting as a target man... Just didn't work out for him though! Took too long to get off the mark and his confidence never recovered! Sorry he didn't work out, and wish him the best, but realistically, this is a positive move if we can bring in a more aggressive and hungry striker! We need an eye for goal more than skill right now or all the talent we have in midfield will be for nothing!

for the best i think; i wanted Fortune to succeed at celtic and i thought perhaps this year he could, but he was on quite a relatively high salary and we got some decent money for him by all accounts; truth is he is nowhere near consistent enough to score regulary in the SPL, Stokes may not be the best but he does know how to score in the SPL

Samaras should be hunted next then Mr Brown should be after that - 2 haddies that are not fit to wear the hoops. I wish we still had Hartley & Robson in midfield this team has been chopped to bits thanks to Mowbray. I hope they have somebody decent lined up if they go as well.
