Glad to see others are finally able to see that Forster is absolutely rubbish. From the first few of games I saw of him last season I knew he was not good enough, yet did not understand the praise he was given.

I still fail to remember just one top drawer performance that won us games. The huns have McGregor who ultimately won them at least a dozen games last season with his match winning saves.

Forster is probably the worst keepr I've ever seen at Celtic, worse than Big Rab and even Jonathon Gould. Think we need to give Zaluska a chance. He can't do worse!

I'm not saying big Packie wasn't a good keeper, and yes I saw the Euro 88 game, still say I'd rather have Boruc over Packie, any day of the week.

Fair enough, each to his own. Boruc was good in the World Cup ( or was it the Euros) but i never really warmed to him. Either way, both were vastly superior to Forster who is a liability and it's worrying that Lennon can't see it.

Always said he's *. The guy has no clue what he's doing and is the least mobile GK I've ever seen playing.
And the way Lenny dropped Zaluska, after a man of the match performance, for that big diddy was a disgrace. And even if we were to bring Zaluska in now the lad will have absolutely no confidence because of that.

Yet another clean sheet for the big man yesterday, playing behind one of the shakiest back two I have ever seen.

    How come ?

Boruc was a fantastic 'keeper for us, best we've had in decades, and some would argue the best we've had. I'm too young to remember Bonner but the common opinion amongst those who have seen both 'keeper's is that Artur was superior to him.

You have to remember that Boruc played a lot more in the tv age and a lot of Packie's performances might not have been shown live. Having said that, he was always very solid for Ireland,a real rock at the back.
I just never really liked Boruc, can't put my finger on the reason for it, there were other good keepers i admired like Neville Southall and Bruce Grobbellaar. I even respected Schmeicheil although i can't stand Man United!

Boruc was a great keeper and I loved him, but lets be honest here. The fans loved him because he was Catholic and blessed himself and because he hated the Huns as much as we do and they hated him.

Fraser Forster has the misfortune of being the follow up to a legend, which is why a lot of people don't like him.

Same thing happened to Gordon Strachan.

No comparison at all. Strachan was the fans whipping boy for no reason. Forster is actually as bad as people say.

He looked dodgy at times yesterday but id blame the centre-backs it was one of the worst defensive showing from Dan and Loovens that I have ever seen. They let the ball bounce over them about 5/6 times and Forster didnt know wether to come out of if they were doing it so they could turn and clear the danger but Loovens and Dan weren't doing it for any sort of reason it was only happening because theyre a pair of diddies!

Forster may look like a big, immobile lump, but when Inverness got that header at goal, he reacted quickly. A good GK who will become even better.

Don't like him, never have. Fills me with no confidence at all. We can't expect a solid organised defense with him behind it.

I don't thin he is, he made 2 absolute sensational saves in Madrid last Thursday, the week previous against Motherwell he made some excellent saves as well and he was the only player who got pass marks away to Sion.

He made crucial saves last year, one particulary in the cup final against Rangers from Jelavic which was actually sensational. He has continued getting clean sheet, after clean sheet playing behind a very shaky, terrible defence.

He is very young for a goalkeeper and will only improve. People who get on his back and pick on him for no reason baffles me. Like I said, another clean sheet for him yesterday behind a defence of Majstorivic and Glen Loovens and he is still being criticised.

    What's your point ?

Anybody that shows an open hatred of the huns is always going to be favoured by the support, the same can be said about any rivalry on the planet.

That doesn't change the fact that he is a Celtic legend, and was a fantastic 'keeper for us.
