Foods you hate that everyone loves.

Cheese or rice pudding, puking material.

 

I am PTC sensitive so that means a whole load of veg are off the menu for me, plus tea and coffee.

 

I live in Yorkshire when I’m not overseas and constantly have folk going on about haggis and whisky and all things Scottish.

They can’t grasp it when I tell them I don’t eat haggis, or square sausage, don’t drink whisky, despise bagpipes (devils instrument), loathe Scottish dancing, would cut my own leg off to avoid a Ceilidh (or however the * you spell it) , will never wear a kilt and would ban accordions from being played in public.

I’ve started to just describe myself as a ‘crap Scotsman’ as pretty much the only things I like are Celtic, Irn Bru, the mountains/islands… and those rolls with the burnt tops..

Might have been born in the wrong country.

 

Tenderstem broccoli with steak, peppercorn sauce, sweet potato mash and throw in some scampi and sweetcorn one of my favourite ever dinners..

Imagine not liking cheese.

I’ll not touch cucumber, that’s pretty much it. Anyone who eats a raw tomato like an apple is an animal. I can do raw tomato as a salsa or bruschetta.

 

Scotch pies, Olives (fucken hate them *), sausages (except square), tomato sauce or tomato soup (tomatoes themselves are good though), hot tomato, Sour Cream (fucken rank), milk, rice pudding, tapioca (* spew), marmalade (just fucken weird), anchovies, sardines, caviar. Everything else is ok, but ban all the * listed!

 

No * wonder given the posts in this thread mate.

 

For me there are four foods I hate.

1. Baked beans in tomato sauce. Vile
2. Prawns. Can't stand them but like a lot of other seafood.
3. Mushrooms. More of a texture thing tbh.
4. Cauliflower. It tastes of absolutely nothing to me.

 

Peanut butter & snickers bars. Like a satay sauce but peanut butter can do one.

 

Love loads of stuff folk have described as disgusting on here, mushrooms getting a tough time of it. Fried with a bit of salt, in curries, omelettes, whichever.

Only thing can honestly say don't like on here is Mcds. Absolutely * man.

* me there's one thing I can't go, omelettes. Had a few and usually just dry, stodgy * that can't even be masked over with a decent sauce..

Peanut butter above. Rancid..

 

Smooth peanut butter is *, need the aul nuts.

Hate vinegar but love Tabasco & other sauces like that.

 

Actually there's one I agree with, tomato soup. * diseased. I liked it when I was really young but had it once and was whiteying to * and since then it's a no no. Even the smell and look of it.

 

McDonald's. Tried one in 1978, never again.
