    Steam version is hardly any different?

    I've done facepacks on FM07 and they worked. Do I have to get any particular skin...

    I'm baffled too, gonna look myself too, see anything let me know!!

    ahhh i see what might be wrong..

    i put the full pack in the players folder like so
    C:\Users\John\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\graphics\players\European_Superpack_ClaSSiC_1ST_Part

    this is in the players folder

    then i just opened that and then moved the logos to logos and kits to kits. give that a try mate

    I forgot to take out the kits and logos when I did it

    Would that have made a difference.

    I dont see how the "European_Superpack_ClaSSiC_1 ST_Part" would make a difference to the game finding the players folders but not removing the kits and logos might have caused an issue.

    restarting the game now

    EDIT

    No joy and I have the same setup as you now :31:

    When i did it i ended up not categorising anything - logos/kits/players - I just stuck them all in the one folder called Graphics then extracted. That worked for me.

    Do I need to start a new game for the graphics pack to take effect? Jnrbhoy I've followed the steps you've laid out (f0r me) -

    C:\Users\Johnbhoy\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\

    I don't have a graphics folder there though, so I created one and used the steps above to extract the files and It's not working, Will I need to start a new game?

    No you dont need to start a new game

    Go to preferences/display & sound, untick "use skin cache" and tick "Always reload skin on confirm"
