I've went Airdrie Utd - so far i'm undefeated (only played bout 4 games)

Made some good signings considering who i am - Bobo Balde, who is my star performer - every single corner i get he's the one who wins the header but he's not scored one of them yet he keeps hitting it over >.<!

Godwin Antwi, Alan Lowing, sold everyone i could from their team and pretty much filled it back up with free transfers i'd be here for ages typing them all up. lol

I've just put in about a dozen loan bids to premier league teams' reserve and youth players so i've got plenty of back up - I don't want to be getting close to promotion just for an injury crisis to hump me.

I got a player from Boca Juniors for 20k - Gabriel Rodriguez my fans nearly creamed themselves when i pushed that deal through so i'm hoping he's got pretty good potential.


Edit: I only went Airdrie because of the geographical closeness to myself - Albion Rovers is too much of a mission lol.

 

I go to download the patch and it says find a program to open with ? What that mean

Not really sure what I need , I think I have a strong enough squad for the eredvise but europe may be different

 

Guys what attributes make a good ball winner ?

 

Generally speaking I like my ball winners to have at least tackling 16, strength 16, and then a * of a lot of mental stats such as anticipation, decent aggression, bravery, concentration, positioning, teamwork, workrate.

Bonuses then will be guys with a bit of height/heading, or someone with a bit of acceleration/pace. Oh and a bit of influence doesn't go amiss.

If you can find someone like me who has it all then they are worth throwing cash at, possibly the most important position on the team.

 

Just started a 2 player game with my pal , a celtic , rangers game , we normally play an old firm game , he is a st.mirren fan so he lets me go celtic lol . I signed Chevanton , Otamendi and Abou Trika and he signed Jorge Andrade

Depends on your budget. Might be worth taking a look at Tinga or Sebastian Kehl from Dortmund, guys I've worked with successfully in the past. I know that Dortmund are having a bit of financial trouble so might be slightly easier to grab them.

Defensively sound and done solid for me at Espanyol, however what became a critical drawback was once he gets the ball you may as well have a Highland League player - his passing was shocking.

Maybe get someone on loan, Dan Gosling?

 

Do you see the highlighted attributes in your tactics screen for role/duty of each position?

Willo Flood is a good ball winner as is Brown

 

Thanks guys , But all in vein unfortuantely as just as I went to play my first league game it encountered an error and just shut and I hadn't saved

 

Raith were a team that I could never beat in my livingston game my diddy team

 

I had them twice in a row mate they put me out the challenge cup 1-0 after extra time with a penalty

Sebastian Battaglia (spelling?!?) from Boca was pretty good for me. Got him for £3 million. Only thing is he is 28 so you'll maybe only get 3 good years out of him.

 

Emerson is a freebie at the start of the game.

Got him to tutor Marc Crosas, it went very nicely too.

 

Put Toulouse out the Europa, but got Valencia so think y run may be over.

Beat Rangers at Ibrox to go 12 points ahead with 11 games left so it's looking good.
