Kind of gone from one extreme to the other here.

My Blackburn side was full of giants and now I have this tiny Celtic side.

Trying to figure out what the * to do with Celtic here. Not bought anyone yet, and only really sold Naylor and Killen.

Conceeding a lot of goals from crosses in pre-season, so trying to sort that.

McDonald is scoring for fun, but dunno who to partner him with - or how to use them.

Dunno what to do with the midfield yet. Obviously McGeady and Maloney on the flanks, but not sure who to partner in midfield.

Yeah I'm actually conceeding frightening amounts this pre-season.

The full-backs got a good rating in the last game and I didn't concede from a cross (well, a corner). Kinda makes me think the problem must be coming from the centre, so I'm gonna change the roles of the CM's for the next game and see if I get any joy.

 

Tinkered a bit and beat some Dutch mob 0-7.

 

I've had a big spell of losing goals from crosses myself in the past..

Not sure if I really cracked it or what but I thought using beefier full-backs (as opposed to tippy tappy wing-backs) and closing down their wingers / hard tackling would help. Generally in my teams I always sign tall defenders with heading/marking/tackling 15+ at least so I'm usually perplexed when I lose goals to crosses.

 

Board just gave me £29.5million for a transfer budget and an extra £200k wage budget

 

Make sure to play Maloney as an inside forward, and McGeady as a winger. Get Maloney to cut inside and shoot often, he scores a barrel of goals in the SPL that way.

I just got approached for the Spurs job very tempted i'm in the start of my 4th season and i've been doing well with celtic and been gave 29.5m to spend but tottenham are only offers a budget of 16m

 

Now Roma want me aswell there offering me 35k a week and 1.3m wage budget and 55m transfer budget aargghh a dont know what to do

 

All I have is Fox and Hinkel really, and the CB's have decent heading stats.

What I did last night was have the wingers closed down and showed their weaker foot, and the forwards tightly marked - seemed to work well enough.

Thats what I have at the moment. They are both doing fine so far, it's the middle I' concerned about.

I have a price tag of €100M on Diego Renan, I get those speculative price tags too. Those price tags are based on the fact that you dont want to sell/resist selling the player. Its media speculation after all...
