[PC] FM 10 General Chat

I just got this yesterday, bad timing as I have a 10minute presentation to learn for Wednesday :icon_mrgreen: but I started as Stelling's team Hartlepool and we have a 50k budget. Any good free agents? I've been recommended to get Sylla and Doumbe. I tried to get Killen and Naylor on loan but I can't even afford the 30% of Naylor's wages Celtic are looking for. Any good loans as well, that are likely to come? Don't want to waste my time trying to sign Man Utd's reserves on loan if they're not going to come, but any you've got in the past would be helpful.

I'm predicted to come 22nd in England's League 1, to give you an idea of how * they are.

 

I've started with a similar team; Exeter who are not as bad, only just though...
Finding it difficult, what tactics do you use? I need to find a couple of new players asap, I want to do better than a mid table finish.

It seems to happen so much to me that I've started to think it's a bug. Either that or I'm paranoid/delusional...

 

I haven't really sorted tactics yet I'm just in preseason, I have 2 decent players, one at CB and one up front so I'm basically looking to build a team from free agents free transfers and loans.

Not really but I always seem to go behind through a penalty kick in the first 20 mins of a match and a straight red for the player usually follows to


It used to be 40yd wonder goals all the time now it's friggin penalties!

 

got fm a few weeks ago, been managin celtic, fairly easy! Bought mccormack, dudu, mark beevers and a romanian keeper called lung jr in first season, second season bought carlos vela, burdisso pablo afellay and adrian on a free and young craig thomson of hearts, so far got to the champions league quarter finals twice, but man utd jus came in for me

Because he is * hot , id seriously recommend him.

Just pumped Juve 4-1 at home. Finally got a good tactic that works well in Europe. Drew 2-2 at the Nou Camp with 10 men for half the game aswell.

 

Because City never want him and he's available for a relatively small fee, esp. considering his quality.

He's been prolific for me in the EPL, I can only imagine what he'd do for Celtic in the SPL.

let me tell you... he scored 54 in 50 appearences for me last season. lol then you can also get Vela from Arsenal 2nd season in too for about 2 mil to a free..

Hmm finishing my second season with Espanyol and it will really pain me if Vela was avilable for £2 million and I failed to get him Will check tonight if there is still hope.

If not I hope to finish the season (2nd round of UEFA right now, could do well) and desperately need new full-backs and maybe Veloso if I can stretch to the £10m asking price. That + 2 full-backs could be £15-20m though which although I had CL football this year, I doubt I'll be getting that kind of money... Who knows though - wondering what the * to do with the supposedly £6m Ben Sahar - he is utter * and could do with getting nice cash for him.

 

Started with arsenal and bought van der vaart on loan that's all but I feel I need another good striker apart from eduardo and van persie any ideas ? got about 23mill

Last game of the season, already won the league about 5 games ago but Dundee United currently sit in 2nd place, a win will secure them a place in the CL, leaving Rangers in 3rd.

And I'm the one United need that win against, wee bit of lieing down gonna be done here. :icon_mrgreen:

 

Dzeko that plays for Wolfsburg seems to be the must have player of FM10 so far. Probably cost around £20 million.
