on my game, Man City have a few guys they have bought for millions to do nothing but sit on the bench.

at everybody...has anyone else seen Patrick Viera as a manager? he's now at Lyon and his stats are nearly as good as Sir Alex lol

P.S. Av nearly finished ma first season in the Premiership and am sitting at 7th with no chance of getting 6th, on the bright side...I kicked * out of Liverpool in the League Cup Final :icon_mrgreen: 3-0 im sure it was..

 

my friend managed to get davide santon for parma in his first season and he ripped it up

 

NEVER! EVER! buy Moussa Sissoko... I got him in january and the guys a complete *! supposed to be a solid strong CM...well the * keeps getting injured whilst either in a game or in reserves. worst money spent ever! he's only managed 6 starts and very near everytime he plays he gets bullied to *..big woosie!!

 

Did you not scout him until the scout report revealed his injury proneness?

 

lol no m8.. i tried to buy him before in another save but they wanted loads for him and then I was offered him this game for 10 mil so thought i'd bite thier hand off... big * mistake!

here...av just been offered 20 mil plus incentives from man u for sissoko, should i take it? or should i try one more season with him?
the offer is... 3.4mil up front with 17 over two years and 20% of profit from next sale.

 

I get this alot where you buy a player and within a season you are offered over double for him. I'd sell him and go for Ramires, Sandro or Bernardo, you will not be disappointed.

His value will probably drop and you wont be able to get much more than whats being offered now. Thats my experience of this trend in FM09.

The player is probably quality but maybe just not right for you and your club.

 

Why aren't my youngsters turning into world-beaters!?

I've picked up a good 10 or so youngsters who at some stage have had been described by a coach as "could become a leading star in the Bundesliga" OVer the years I've had a tonne of "could become a good first team player" guys as well.

I have half *very good* youth coaches and half *excellent* youth coaches.

I have excellent youth facilities and youth academy.

I have been trying to blood the youngsters into the team over the course of their early career, between 16/17/18 giving them upto 10 games worth each per season in the first 11.

At under 19 level they are ripping up the U19 championships every season.

Some of these guys I've developed over 3-4-5 seasons now.

Yet still they aren't really challenging my first select for a spot. None of their stats are properly developing beyond the level of a mid-table side. I'm wanting Arsenal style Cesc Fabregas's coming through here and getting fecking Aliadieres!!! Why!?

 

Whats the reputation of your coaching staff and your club, you and your assistant?

4 x Continental (one of these is the assistant)

Club: Continental - my ongoing problem is dominating Germany yet consistently making the quarters/semis ish of the CL....Can't quite seem to win it although I'm edging closer I think...

One year later sold him to madrid for 40 million pound. Quite the markup Could've done with keeping him but I was a bit heavy up front and want to give the young guys a chance...

 

deicided to do a dumbarton game , needed a real hard challenge , got too the play-offs and got promoted , also finished runners-up in the challenge cup , signed andy tod , scored 17 goals for me !

 

started a celtic game again , signed the saudi captain yaser al-qahtani (SP) , he has been pretty decent along side vennegoor only cost 3.4 million

in the league : 7(1), Goals 3 , Assists 3

 

Need a bit of advice. Im in my 2nd season for Dundee Utd and Alditore has been transfer listed by Villareal. Ive had a 3million bid aceppted but to raise the cash I need to sell 2 key players (Sandaza and Kovecavic). Think its worth it?

I would mate, think of the potential sell-on fee.

I dunno how your youth is, but you could always bring some one through ?? to replace those sold players

 

Im only 2nd season so the youth is what was there in the first place and its slim pickings. I may just tough it out with only 3cbs and 3 strikers, even go 4-5-1 if I have to with injuries. I hope I get a takeover soon as th board havent given me a penny since I joined.

 

HS, don't think a takeover is close. I might be wrong, but still don't risk selling your important players for Altidore. He's a bit of a gamble if you ask me, Sandaza can guarantee your shitload of goals. But you can get a decent amount for Kovacevic and you also have good cover, Dillon, Watson etc. Where did you finish last season? 3rd or second? Either way, UEFA Cup cash guaranteed.
