I accepted the 40 mil for McGeady and got that 19 yr old marquinos, vagner love is coming, and im in for leo and ponzio. I want a minted cb..but i'll have to pay big bucks

 

i actually find that quite disturbing , i just cant believe that's happened ,doesnt say much for the game if a celtic team of this nature wins the champions lge !! no matter what tactic /formation is be played , just too fantasy football and completely unrealistic for me that

does anyone really expect to win the champs lge in the first season with the squad thats there plus maybe a few more onboard ?

Razvan Rat (LB) - i cant remember... i think he cost £4m
Guerreiro (CAM, LCM) - £1.7m
Marko Babic (LW) - £4.1m

 

JnrBhoy what tactics do you use in Europe ?

 

Im after Guerrero as well. And i bet i can get Babic for less than that.

 

at home I use the 4-3-3 atacking, tweeked to pass quicker and use target man to feet.
away... well i was lucky last year to get all first legs at home, got good results and then went pretty defensive, usually 5-3-2 defencive, tweeked to again pass a bit quicker and move up the time wasting option.

i have just signed some quality players with the mcgeady money, and then the board up'd my budget from 9-15 mil.



Marquinhos is simply the best replacement for McGeady, Reo coker is now my best mid, and the guy fae barca is my best defender. not much between mcdonald and love and fletcher

 

I'm Corinthians, they're in the second division so they don't play Palmeiras, but that Marquinhos guy has recently been called up to the Brazil squad, so must be a great player.

Actually, I think someone might have bought him from Palmeiras, cos he doesn't play with them in my game, but I remember seeing his name in the Brazil squad.

I got a guy called simek from sheffield wednesdy i think, great defender 24 american, only cost 2mil, but the wee guy rafeal i got for 3.4 mil, only 20 and is playing out his skin, DM/M from gremio, and a youngster from arsenal called sproud or sumin on a free, only 17 with tacklling abilities 17 already.
This game is a bit too easy i think, in saying that, i drew with Motherwell 2nd game.

 

I am half way through my second season with Celtic and have won the league last season and almost certain to win already like 15 points ahead of Hearts...(Rangers are are 4th behind Motherwell and fighting for 4th place with hibe LOL!!)

Strange how Rangers have not bought a single player since and have sold a lot of players....then just recently some Swedish businessman took over Rangers and promised to give them 63mil to spend on players....bring on the challenge...to be honest I ain't afraid of that....no amount of money can beat my team:

Begovic is a regen but his is a wonderkid. Only 18 year of age, little croatian winger with CA 148, PA 199. Certainly the next Cristiano Ronaldo...I am telling him to learn stepover LOL!!

Also I sold Scott Brown for 18.5m to Man City, Scott MacDonald for 7.5m, Sammy for 7m, Caldwell for 4m, McManus for 8m and Naylor for 3m...these are some of my highlight sales...which I think are good business deals.

Van Der Vaart cost me 6m, Behrami cost me 7m, Thiago and Sakho are bost young defender both cost around 10m each, and the strikers cost 12m each.

Also got Craig Gordon as backup keeper for 4.5m....was transfer listed at Sunderland so got him in...no more worries about Boruc getting injured .

i got to Semi of the UEFA Cup last season after finished third, this season I am still in CL after XMAS, but guess who i got in the last 16, yup AC Milan!!
