Cheers for all the suggestions but i think im going to give my strikers until january before i sign a new one, with the strikers i have i think if i get them settled theyll get me goals. Dont want to spend the money just cause its there.

 

Who are your preferred choice and how are you supplying them in general play and at set pieces?

 

I'm going to start with Fletcher and Marquinhos this season. Tbh i couldnt really tell you how they are being supplied cause i downloaded the tactic and havent changed any of it.

 

Sounds like you need a target man to me, probably someone for Marquinhos to feed off, I feel I get my best out of him that way.

Yea, its important to check which type of striker is playing where because their positions are customised to suit a certain type of player.

Fletcher position is designated as the stronger aerial threat for set pieces

Use Fletcher as the preferred Targetman, mixed.

I'd use Marquinhos if you want to sit deep and hit on the break, targetman, supply to feet or run onto ball

 

Nah i couldnt find the ones you uploaded so still using the ones i have which dont have a set targetman, the strikers swtich positions i think.

 

Try having a look at Cristaldo or Neymar , both got 30+ goals for me the last 2 seasons

Fletcher and Marquinhos do compliment each other brilliantly. Well, I have great success with my formations, that post contains both formations if you like to give them a go in pre-season.

I'm using the 4-4-2, tweaked to what I was told in the next opposition scouting and I've just beaten Hearts 6-0 with both Fletch and Marquinhos grabbing braces.

well check this...Had a wee start with Liverpool knowing they don't have much in terms of spending, but a midfield to die for! So I signed Santon for 1.5, and then put a 7.5 mil bid with Lucas,Benyoun and Skrtel for Balotteli which they rejected, and hit me with this!?

Wasnt a need for a screenshot but the only thing I could think of, is that they didnt want one or all of the players. Maybe post on the SI forum and see what the QA guys think

 

Don't see why that's a bug if they don't want any of your crappy players Especially 3. Take a Championship club for example - if I offer to trade 4 players worth £2million each then that doesn't mean I am effectively offering £8 million. Unless they specifically want a player for that position then they have every right to complain

By the way for anyone wondering about my Crystal Palace game - I made it to the Premiership through the playoffs. I went into the closing part of the season on something like a 7 win streak as finally the front 2 of Wosniak (regen) and LuaLua (loan) were coming off in the Championship.

I got £20 million or so, signed a few regens and an Italian striker called Coppiardi (or something) who has Strength 16, Finishing 17, Composure 18, Anticipation 16, Technique 17, Heading 16 and more good physical stats so a real top player for £7 million.

Signed D'Allesandro to play left-footed on the right wing in the Nakamura position - * broke is pelvis in a pre-season friendly and is out 4 months - £6 million down the * (for now). Have to play Chris * Burke there, although he can do a job if you tell him to make the by-line...

Been getting severe injury problems especially with such a small squad, my first choice DM (Nafti) missed 5 of the first 7 games, and a few of my subs are injured as well so I've had to dip into my reserves. Team is:

Best experienced player I've ever had is Mark Van Bommel. He was my Celtic captain in like 2011/12.

Great player to just sit in midfield with De la Red.

Strachan never takes up another job in my game, disappointing to see tbh

 

I managed to get my Celtic game back, I had to send the save away to SI folk though and they done something.

8 points clear with 22 games played. McCoist is now NUFC manager and doing rather *, they've appointed big Eck again and he's * up left, right & centre.

Some of my regens are top notch, however, every big club is snooping around and it's heartbreaking. AC want Huntelaar but everytime I tell him he's not leaving, he reacts surprisingly well, so that's not a worry.

But my regens are doing my nut in, clubs tapping them up all the * time.
