    RIP to all the victims. I've always thought that it's incredibly diffcicult to prevent something like this happening if the individual is determined to kill people, no doubt that having access to military grade weaponary makes things much easier though.

    Why wouldn't it?

    If someone wants to mass murder gays, that's a serious enough issue.

    But how someone can seriously LEGALLY (as has been reported) get hold of a semi-automatic weapon, a handgun and copious amounts of ammunition to carry out the deranged attack is another.

    Well, judging by that article he seems to be taking the nip because it isn't being addressed as a "homophobic" attack.

    If that's the case, should he not be more concerned about the actual people that were slaughtered, rather than the title being given to the activity??

    I quite like Owen Jones ordinarily. I used to be irked by him a bit as he seemed too young to be a guest on programmes discussing such serious issues, but he has completely shut me up in that respect.

    Probably a daft thing to do for his credibility, (lobbing the dummy oot)but he has definitely now got his point across.
