    * up Ronny eh ?

He has enough to worry about on the pitch.

Him and the board are ruining our clubs reputation as a team who used to be able to make us proud in Europe.

The only way this will get settled is to take the SFA and Scottish Government to court.

You know Celtic FC as a club doesn't embrace the Irish roots that it's fans do. Unfortunately Celtic is moving away from Ireland. It kills me. Growing up Celtic and Ireland went hand and hand, now as a club they are separating themselves from their fans.

Leaves me gutted to be honest.

Yes it does, that's just nonsense. Can you point out what Celtic should be doing to embrace it's roots that it's currently not doing?

I cannot understand the mindset of some of our supporters.

If something is banned/not allowed and you do it anyway, you are punished. Basic socialization.

These pyros are BANNED, which means regardless of your opinion on them, if they are used at a game, our Club and its supporters will suffer the consequences for the actions of a few supporters.

    No pyros, no problems. :icon_mrgreen:

I agree, but as a Scot living in Ireland for the last 16years I must say that it seems like the irish are moving away from Celtic at an even faster rate. I'm absolutely stunned how few people here give a * about celtic, let alone follow them. Might be that the board don't feel like there's that much of a current connection like there used to be, so don't go to bat for them anymore? I'd hate to see that history and comeraderie peter out like a failed marriage...

Brilliant spots JT. Just shows the double standards in effect on this matter.

Hold on, you're the one accusing the Club of not embracing its roots, I asked you what you think the club should be doing that it's currently not doing.

You honestly think the Club does not embrace its Irish roots? The roots of our Club are intertwined with the Club and its supporters for everyone to see.

Considering I have been called a plastic paddy * knows how many times because I'm a Scottish Celtic supporter, I think the club has embraced its roots just fine. :smiley-laughing002:

We should be playing more friendlies in Ireland for a start.

Not watering down the words to the songs we play over the tannoy would be another.

I agree we haven't abandoned them but we could be doing more.

I would rather play Bohs than some obscure german 4th division team.

We should play bohs every week so it's only 5 minutes down the road instead of 20 hours in bus :smiley-laughing002:

Songs really annoy me to taking the free derry out of this land like how is free derry offensive in anyway

Where did you ask me that?

Read my post again. I asked you a question. I made no statements or accusations. Nowhere in your post have you answered my question about what the club is currently doing.
