I wish the fans that let off the smoke bombs/flares would stop it . The club do not need the hassle , and it's a chance for our oh so unbiased media to use it as a big stick to hit us with . When the 3 - 0 win should be getting the attention .
As for the police complaints about sectarian songs , the club should be saying " please Mr Polis , could you give us a list of the songs that you deem sectarian , as we want to stamp out sectarianism too . But we just didn't hear them being sung " . Typical sort of thing to happen in the light of Sevco's hymns of hate being put under the spotlight just last week .

Glad the club are starting to issue bans to these morons. They've been warned enough times and obviously have no intention of changing their ways. Banning them from matches is the only thing they'll understand.

Tut tut you get into trouble for that kind of view :86:

I see the similarity right enough.. if you look closely you can see that they have set them off in among the supporters as well

There are truckloads of little kids standing close to the fireworks. Hope they don't have asthma.

I see people making a mockery of this situation, the fans who set off the flares are scum of the highest order and should be banned for life.

Essentially, what this means is that if the quality on the park was better, our fans wouldn't become deviant and let off flares....

We have bigger problems than flares at this club. This seems to be another distraction method and the board will milk this for all it is worth.

this is bad because it causes division: Celtic fans turning against other Celtic fans when the real issue is the people at the top of this club.

Haha flare dealer wanting paid with parties :smiley-laughing002:

I think we were overly criticised for the use of flares as they seem to appear quite a lot in Europe. But it's now just crazy for any fan to set them off because they will be filmed and banned for life. I don't think it's worth that to create a bit of atmosphere before a game. Our fans create a brilliant enough atmosphere with their party atmosphere, cheering the team on and singing our brilliant songbook.

There's no denying that if it could be done safely without ruining things then it certainly would add to the atmosphere. Thing is though, we'd need to find a way of doing it safely which seems difficult.
It deffo adds to atmosphere, just need to try and be a bit more...sensible with it.

Yep, we need to be a bit more like Ross County fans who let off smoke bombs in a wooden stand on Saturday. Clearly they done it the right way as it has garnered zero media attention.
