Hey, me and my other half are coming down to Glasgow to experience my first ever Old Firm in the city next month eeeek!!!! :icon_mrgreen: Due to living up in Shetland, we don't get this opportunity often.
Wondering if you can help recommend places to go watch the game and just get the best experience possible since we've made the trip down?
Cheers in advance. HH :shamrock:

If you are down anyway & don't have tickets I'd try finding spares on the day at Hampden. Best place is either The Montford at the bottom of Curtis Avenue or The Beechwood behind the shops facing the entrance to the Celtic end / main stand on Aitkenhead Road.
If that fails then the Celtic pubs on the Gallowgate will be sure to have it on live. Some of the pubs though will be regulars only or on a ticket basis to get in before and after the match.
I'd avoid trying to watch it in the city centre but Molly Malones top of Hope St and one or two others will no doubt have it on. -

Don't call it "The Shetlands".. We find it offensive Haha kidding ish.
I've not been on here in a long time but might know him.. Will keep my eye out!
Ok superb, thanks for the heads up!! Tickets will be a fortune / impossible to get though eh? Kinda thought we'd have to rule that one out! -

The old saying if you don't try, ya don't get! There's always someone standing with a ticket in the air outside the ground. It's just being there at the right time. What your problem is thou is if you go to outside the ground and don't get any, you've to get to the closet Tim pub sharp so you don't miss it. I don't know where that is thou. I know after hampden games, we used to walk to rutherglen and drink there but haven't been in them pubs in years. Even think they've closed now. Few mates onto me asking about tickets thou if I get any, might just go myself and let them watch it in the pub lol. Anyway, good luck. -

Thanks for the replies. Yeah i'm not sure if we'd take the chance re the tickets - would be gutted not to get in then trying to find somewhere and not miss it.
If anyone else knows decent places for Hoops fans with a good atmosphere - be really appreciated. -
