my first ever game was a 0-0 hearts game, first 3 games were all 0-0 draws, my family were very reluctant on getting me a season book for the next year :56:

Larsson didn't sign until 1997. Not sure if you have scorer wrong or date, but seeing as Scotland had Sweden for WC98 qualifying I'd guess your game was 97/98.

    August 1996 at Pittodre - Aberdeen 2 Celtic 2

I was 10 years old or so, big Pierre scored a magnificent free-kick to open the scoring. Stubbs later got sent off but I don't really remember what happened that well.

Duncan Shearer came on and scored 1 or 2 to make it 2-2.

The other thing I remember, is that Di Canio had recently signed, but not in time to play (I didn't know at the time)

Even before he played a match I was desperate to see him, and saw Brian O'Neill down warming up behind the goal. I was convinced it was Di Canio, but was later gutted to find it was not Di Canio.

First trip to paradise was later that season, at first thought it was 0-0 with Motherwell but what had happened there was me and my dad had left early (to beat the traffic, it was a * game) but apparently Hooidonk grabbed a late winner.
