    With the exception of Rocky most of these would be up there in my favourites list!

    As with a lot of people on here, I really didnt like LOTR. The first one was too long but ok, the 2nd and 3rd were just too long and I fell asleep in the cinema during part 3. That said I tried to read the fellowship and couldnt get part the first 100 pages or so. That sort of fantasy stuff doesnt really do it for me.

    I do like Jim Carrey and many people around me liked 'The mask' but I really couldn't enjoy it. Maybe not my type of movie;;

    And...I have to add the film "Titanic', too...It's quite hard to explain the reason though...;;

    Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy was indeed, complete and utter *! I fell asleep in the cinema watching it and for the first time ever, seriously considered leaving the cinema early.

    No Country for Old Men I fell asleep watching it the first time :56:

    I tried to watch it again recently and I had to turn it off I really don't see why it won so much, terrible film imo.

    No, the movie is definatley a rare case of a film beating the book. The fantastic talents involved in making it and the removal of sub-plots about Johnny Fontaine that go nowhere make the movie much better than the novel.

    I never got into Lord of the Rings. They're wonderfully made, of course, but they drag on forever and I really struggle to follow the dialogue at times. The Matrix was the same - I don't think it stands up now that the initial impact has worn off. The Six Sense was stupid.

    Anything based off the works of Frank Miller, especially now that he's outed as a complete far-right maniac. 300 is a very different and much more disturbing film when you realise that he thinks that all brown people actually are a horde of monsters.

    Best example I've seen yet has to be 'There will be blood'. Truly baffling film. Had to turn it off after half an hour, and I never do that.
