Watched Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen and Angel Has Fallen recently.

Was never usually into those types of high action, mostly nonsense movies but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed them, especially Olympus Has Fallen. Just easy to follow entertainment with enough story to keep you interested. Far fetched? Absolutely. Entertaining? You bet.

Switch your brain off, grab the popcorn and enjoy.

‘Gotti’ (1996) - I thought it was really good.A lot of The Sopranos actors pop up in it as it was made by HBO.Michael Franzese always goes on about it and reckons it’s the most authentic mob movie ever made.

I have a Gotti book on my shelf that came out the same year, wonder if it’s based on that? Must give both versions a shot.

Late night with the Devil was decent, liked the format of it. Watched Abigail the other night. Bonkers, but actually really liked it. Watching Civil War the now, bit bored tbh.

Best film I've seen in a while was Where the Crawdads Sing.

Watched the original Oldboy again tonight. Hadnt seen it for about 10 years. On first viewing I had it immediately in my top 5 movies of all time.

Watching it again, I remembered absolutely nothing except a loose notion of what happens in the end. Absolutely brilliant film. My girlfriend didn’t agree at all, 1/10 from her :giggle1:

If any of you haven’t seen it yet I’d highly recommend giving it a shot. You might love it, you might hate it. One thing’s for sure, you’ll have an interesting experience watching it.

    8.5/10

While I’m here.. I watched Gozilla vs Kong yesterday. Painful. I was clock watching for it to finish.

After thoroughly enjoying the mindless entertainment of the ‘Has Fallen’ series I thought I’d like it. Loved the 1998 Gozilla on VHS when I was a kid. This is just a * awful movie though. 3/10.

My favourite movie after Goodfellas. Not exactly a cinematic masterpiece but it’s as true a story as they come and has some great actors.

One of the shortest periods of time I've watched a film before switching it off, could tell it wasn't for me after about ten minutes man.

I didn't mind the one with Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno, and the two Simpsons guys Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer. Don't think I've really liked any other Godzilla films since.
