Watched Transformers 4 the other week. Although the CGI was very good, pretty much everything else was awful. The humour was painfully and impressively unfunny, none of the characters were likeable (even the transformers) and it dragged on for way too * long. 2/10 at best.

Saw Noah last night. Can't understand some of the very decent cast agreeing to film this tripe. Unintentionally funny at times I found.

The money was probably too good to turn down, quite a number of great actors have appeared in crap films over the years, i suppose to them it's just another highly paid job.

Need for Speed. Ridiculously good. Probably tops The Fast and The Furious. Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) is great in it. 9/10.

    Oh and Koenigsegg Agera R

Planet of the Apes, loved it. Caesar is a * awesome character. This has been an excellent year for big budget movies with captain america, x men and now the POTA all being fantastic, only transformers has been garbage but that was expected.

I thought Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was about two-thirds too long. The plot was really flimsy as well. I could have finished writing the film scene for scene after the first 10 minutes.

    Effects are pretty stunning though.

I actually watched that Joaquin Phoenix film (Her, I think). Very good film and I hate him as an actor.
