    Prometheus.

    I don't understand why a lot of people hated it when it came out, I thought it was exciting and based on what I'd heard I was expecting it to be a lot more philosophical than it turned out to be. Sure the characters were pretty two dimensional but it was enjoyable. I'm a huge fan of the first two Alien films so the references to those films were handled well.

    Safe house-Not bad, plenty of action in it,Can't go wrong with Denzil Washington.

    Man on a ledge-No bad either,if you don't mind heights.

    Prometheus.

    Was a good movie. Wasn't as good as I was hoping, but still a very decent watch. Never knew it was a kind of prequel to "Alien" either until a couple of weeks ago (and until I watched it).

    Notorious. On Film 4 last night, not into rap music at all but the film was surprisingly decent.

    I've found that if you're a massive Alien fan, you hate this film. I thought it was a great watch, however

    Aye, was a good movie and I loved that Scott made it like a kind of unofficial prequel to Alien.

    Strange cos I loved Alien and I like Prometheus as well. I think if people expect another Alien movie then that's where they will be let down because it's not another Alien movie.

    Aye, exactly. I really dislike this popular notion that it sucks because it's not Alien. It's a separate beast.

    Supposedly, we'll see a more Alien-like film next.

    Exactly. It has ties to the first Alien movie and is a sort of unofficial prequel like I say but it is it's own movie.

    With the ending it's definitely been set up for a more Alien-type of movie.

    Hunger games, tamed down americanised version of Battle Royal, had all the ingredients to be a good film but felt too tame, heard the books are good so another case of that

    Terminator, class film haha

    * drive, lot of *

    Prometheus, quite enjoyed it look forward to the sequel

    Saw that recently, as well. Baffling film. Nice lesbian scenes in there, though. :smiley-laughing002:

    I've just read an explanation on the film here, http://www.awardspeculation.com/mulhollanddrive.html it explains it quite a bit but I still can't decide if it's genius or just * :smiley-laughing002:
