Dunno mate but I don't really give a f@*K their tickets are cheap as f@*K and they still aren't selling out!

If we had prices that cheap we would be turning fans away.

Its like £35 for 2 * and 2 kids at their games so they should be selling more

I suppose, I didn't take their prices v ours into consideration. At around 30 quid a ticket 45 - 50,000 is a good amount to bring in each week. Especially when it's basically a one horse race. I just get annoyed hearing their pish sometimes.

I always said they would fill their stadium every week. As most of them are embarassed into buying tickets, mind 40,000+ of them have went to hun games for decades, they couldnt be seen by Celtic supporting family and work mates to have * off. They also have been going to the games that long, that what else would take the place of going to games? nothing. A bonus for them is that their tickets are less than half the price of what they were. My cousins(a hun) season ticket is £280odd less than what it was last season).

Guys supporting the huns, who had a season ticket could now for the price of 1 season ticket before, have a season ticket for themselves and take about 4 kids season tickets for less than before.

That's coming up for half time.
    It's packed.

Their tickets are cheap compared to ours. Surely plays a big factor in selling out the stadium

It was the build up to the second goal.

Paddy is watching on TV though so I'll take his word for it.

Need to remember as well, we have 10,000 more capacity than them so even if theirs looks a little fuller doesn't mean it is.

And ticket prices play a huge part, I would be back to see Celtic every week if it was £13 for me and a fiver for my bhoys.

True Sean, My mrs and daughter would be there also if it was at that price.

On a side note had my daughter at the game yesterday instead of my bhoy she is better fun than he is. Wee Erin 3

Ignoring Rangers - because frankly I couldnt give a toss - I think it is disappointing but expected that we are seeing lower crowds this year.

Simply put our board decided that rather than encouraging more people to come along by lowering prices, they would make the most loyal fans charge more. How can a board justify increasing prices after failing to pack out celtic park last season? It just doesnt make sense, especially when we continue to sell more than we spend, and fans are in the middle of an economic recession. The board should take a walk around parkhead and ask themselves how many people living there are likely to have a spare £600 a year to watch Celtic.

That said, I do think people go over the top when they complain about "only" 45,000. Why to be honest would you expect any more? How many teams in Britain get that number and then consider the spending and talent on show from those teams.

It looked a lot emptier, I dont know the official attendance that day, but the upper tier was bare as *, surprised over 50k mentioned for that game.

Also thought for flag day would have been a cert sell out.

Looked like more in attendance yesterday though.

they are just absolute oddities though i knw some of their fans that have been to more newco games than oldco ones. This will not last they will get bored after time just like a good number of our "fans" have done. No disrespect to those who cant make it for financial reasons but thats not the only reason there is empty seats. Also Barcelona game will be the highest attended game at Celtic Park this season but that will be due to so called Celtic fans going because of Barcelona not because of Celtic which is disgusting if you ask me.

I'm saving up to take my bhoys to the Barca game.

I get to about 6/7 games a season, it stands to reason I am going to pick the best ones to go to.

I would imagine it is the same for a lot of people.

Why does anyone care how many are at their game?? Its immaterial , they could have 100,000 at their game sitting on each others shoulders and it doesnt mean *. They are still playing in div 3.

As for our attendances, they have been dwindling for a few years now and its no surprise that they have fallen again this year due to no competition in the league this year. Taking a couple of pounds off the price of a ticket wont make another 10,000 turn up and if you take a hefty chunk of the price then it will have a drastic effect on the clubs income which we dont want either. Just got to accept this is how its going to be and stop giving a * about how many they have at their games.

For a lot of people it comes down to a lack of finances and having to chose which games they go to. And of course they will chose the biggest and best games.

For some it is a case of work and life commitments. Again, if people have to take days or half days off they are going to make an effort more for the big days.

Most importantly however I think fans do not see value for money in football at the moment. As I said earlier this season the board increased prices while cutting our squad and selling more than we bought. Paying £35 to watch Celtic v Barca sounds far more like value for money than £30 to watch Celtic v a random SPL club.

I still make most games but I would never criticise fans who dont go. It is up to the board to entice fans back into the stadium rather than taking it for granted that people will always turn up.
