I was able to download latest squads the other day and the signings had been updated, although I found it strange tillio was included in the original squad with guys like Starfelt but wasn’t in the downloaded squad

 

I only downloaded it today, so id assumed the latest transfers would come up. I'll go into it tomorrow.
Shocked at how few international teams are in it. I think Argentina are the only South American team, Mexico and USA from North America, Ghana and Morocco from Africa, Qatar from Asia and NZ from OFC. Then only 23 European teams. People are concerned about clubs I suppose, maybe without the FIFA deal we will see internationals go soon.

 

They’ve mailed it in for years with internationals, the old World Cup games were class and the last couple have been the equivalent of pish DLC

 

If EA can’t make money off it they don’t care. Their entire game is Ultimate Team now.

 

I don't blame them to be fair. I'm enjoying it I just wish they could have put an extra 2 international teams so I could make a world cup. I still loved FIFA RTWC 98, had every country.
I'll give ultimate team another try but I just want a game I can pick up and play often. I won't be buying any coins in ultimate team, I'll do what I did last time I played jt in 2018 and just earn them.

 

Far easier to earn them now mate. Hunners of objectives and things to do for packs.

If you’re not a streamer or on it 8 hours a day then you can genuinely go through it not spending a penny and have a good team.

 

Its the most complete Switch version and Its just full of things I haven't seen before. UT is more complex Volta is great fun. Can't wait to get fully into it.
I've played people online with good players and you can tell they've bought packs because despite having the best players they are still *.

The evolutions are a game changer.

I’ve got an 86 rated Matt O’Riley who is an animal. So much potential for more upgrades too.

 

Can you choose any player to have an evolution card?

Albeit I’m assuming you can only have one per squad or something.

 

Each evolution has a requirement for the player you enter for it and you can only do each one once.

O’Riley fit one and went to 83, then that card fit another and went to 86.

But you can have as many in one team, although you can only do one evo at a time. I’ve got a full Celtic past and present of Evolutions except Hart. No GK one yet.

 

I have ps4 and have i think fifa 22 and would luv to be able to play it but don't have any instructions with it and I'm new to games and I'm 62 lolol

 

Is it a form of gambling? People desperate for cards and players, are people spending loads of money on this *, in the hope of.....is my question

 

It is aye. A few countries have banned buying packs. You don’t have to put money in though.

yeah definitely a form, buying mystery packs in the hope you are getting something good. Young kids have gotten hooked on it.

 

It’s definitely gambling and it’s designed with the same hooks and pitfalls of gambling. Flashy animations to spike an adrenaline rush everytime you open a packet.

 

I know a guy that sunk 2k into FIFA 20.

2k for no guarantee of success and something you’ll stop playing in a year is mad. Proper addiction stuff.
