Loved the tackling in 2016, very satisfying.

I'll be going for FIFA this year, as always.

FIFA seems normally like the main game, PES seems like a game for virgins in all honesty.

Yes, I think the San Siro is AC Milan's stadium and the Giuseppe Meazza is Inter's or maybe the other way around, can't remember :smiley-laughing002: Either way it's daft.

EA was asked via Twitter by both Celtic and Sevco fans about whether or not Celtic Park/Ibrox would be in the game. Same response for both - "Thanks for the question, we will let you know very soon. Stay tuned to this page for updates".

I'm more optimistic than ever that we'll finally get them in Fifa 17. Really can't understand why they've never shown any desire to have it in the game. Never seem to discuss it to the public even tho it seems every year people cry out for them to be included. Hopefully with the Huns back that forces EA's hand to include both stadiums.

Beyond *, the movement, passing shooting and graphics are much worse than fifa 14 never mind the new one. Only prefer the tackling and refs in pes.

So you two just can't play it then, understandable since you've been playing an arcade football game like FIFA for years :smiley-laughing002:

Suppose it's what you're used to but PES is miles behind FIFA in terms of game play and graphics.

    I'll be getting both.

I like the way PES feels a lot better, but FIFA is a better 'product'

No chance, PES gameplay feels more natural, FIFA's presentation is far superior. It's always been the case for me, usually buy a FIFA game every 3 years or so but never been able to get into it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays on the Frostbite engine though, it could do for FIFA what the Fox engine did for PES.

:smiley-laughing002: Konami have always done *-up things like that. I remember as far back as 2005 - The Ajax RB Hatem Trabelsi was close to moving to Arsenal but the deal collapsed in the last minute. PES 05 is released and he's already in the Arsenal squad :56: FIFA managed to come out a month earlier and still have all the up to date transfers. I've never understood why it's always outdated squads on release with PES, do Konami not have the resources or something?

Can't understand people who enjoy the gameplay over FIFA. The passing & shooting is so incredibly one-dimensional to me and has been for years, FIFA is going to be ahead for the foreseeable future. That said, I'll still give it a go by playing the demo, I think the graphics on PES are slightly better than FIFA but it doesn't mean too much when the Gameplay isn't entertaining enough.

By all accounts, FIFA sounds quality this year. Several exciting new modes, addition of managers and the new Frostbite engine has certainly came at the right time. Promising stuff.

That's the thing, Konami don't have the resources, they can't compete with EA for licences and the overall quality of the product is poor in comparison, it's a great game of football to play but it lacks in every other department.

I don't know how you can say the passing and shooting in PES is one-dimensional, you can change the settings to whatever you like such as totally manually controlled passing and shooting, it's linear if you have full assists on, turn them off and it's a different game.

Frostbite is a great engine but it doesn't always work out well when used on what it was made for, first person shooters. NFS The Run was terrible when EA decided to use Frostbite on it and it took a few years to get it right with NFS. Hopefully they'll nail it first time with FIFA though.

If the demo is anything to go by then PES 17 has gone backwards, it looks and feels like an arcade game and it's also very easy. I was playing FIFA 15 today and I think that is better.
