[Cross Platform] FIFA 17 or PES 2017?

I've had every Fifa since 96. I'm really thinking of * it off this year. It's just absolutely *!

The ultimate team mode is no where near how good it could be. Comparing it to the Ultimate team on Madden it's shockingly bad! Maddens has everything to keep you playing the game to win more coins, with Fifa they just expect you to buy coins or trade for hours which I can't be arsed with!

I think I'm set on getting both. Fifa on PS4 and PES on PC (maybe). I love PES' gameplay and Fifa feels rather sluggish/clunky to me in comparison. I don't really both with online because I get trounced every match anyway. I should earn points/coins for making people feel good

In other thoughts, I think I'll start up a new FM save soon. Excited about the way our team is shaping up!

 

I did the same I bought FIFA 15 second hand in Game for £4.99 and I enjoyed it far more that FIFA 16.

I will see what peoples opinions are of FIFA 17 before buying, but I do like the sound of the Alex Hunter story game mode. I'm hoping it's not like NBA2K story mode as that was a let down.

 

I forgot about that! I'm on the other side though, I think it looks rubbish. Would have been better if it was your own guy (I'm sure you can't do that?). From what I seen before, it reminded me of an episode of Eastenders.

 

Yeah I dunno why they left that option of creating your own person out. I've not seen the videos of it yet so if it's like Eastenders I give it a miss:smiley-laughing002:

I think he can only start in the EPL so can't even start him at Celtic. They mentioned different choices you make effect his path a bit like the Telltale Games or the options for alternative endings they have in GTA 5 and Dying Light the following so that interests me a bit.

 

Not sure why anyone would bother with PES on PC (Unless Pirate Bay) considering its not the same as the console version and uses the older engine.

 

Wasn't it just once they done that? Can't see any reason they would do that this year, pretty sure they have quite a big user base on PC.

I went through this dilemma on 2015 versions, prompted for pes for a change, ended up buying fifa again. But I moved house to a * internet location and gaming went to the side, so picked up fifa 16 late on this season and reasonably enjoying it. But think that's partly to do with being away for near a year and my excitement to see what they do with the new engine in fifa 17

Why on earth can they not bring the PC version up to par?

 

Obviously FIFA.

Looks like their making some positive changes to career mode, not enough though. Boggest problem for me with 16 was the AI.

 

Is demo available for ps4 keep seeing people's screenshots

 

Iv got the fifa17 Beta for xbox one, and being honest after a few online games cant say I'm to impressed. Corners have completely changed and its far to easy to score headers. Shooting Is also pretty *. Although this is only the beta they need to improve on a few things yet including sorting out how easy it is to score from corners.

 

Celtic 2.5 stars on FIFA 17.. although no Sinclair. Roberts is rated 66..

Jesus, I'd have Roberts as 72/73 and Tierney around the same, at the very least.

 

Watched a video today with Marco Reus playing it...Game looked kinda *...same old fifa

Anyone ever played Fifa on PC? Does the online work as well as the consoles?

 

Expect that to go up, surely. We was 3 star last game was we not? Kolo and sinclair increase our overall(78 and 77 last year, surely won't downgrade them that much?), combined with roberts, Griffiths and Tierney all surely taking a good jump. Griffiths should he a solid 75, Tierney floating around the 70 mark and roberts on 72. Rogic will surely see a point or two increase, Erik up by 1 or 2. The rest of the team (brown, bitton, forrest, gms, armstrong, Johansen, lustig, gordon) all will stay the same.

According to this, we are not in PES again, this year... Don't think I'll buy.

Edit: PES demo is out on the 24th.

 

Made the celtic team on fut16 this weekend.
Gordon,
Lustig, boyata, toure, Tierney
Roberts, brown, johansen, sinclair
Griffiths, dembele.
Bench of fasan, mcgregor, forrest Armstrong and couple random Scots. 3.5 stars. How the * they get 2.5 stars when some of those players will be increased is beyond me.
