[Cross Platform] FIFA 14

The over powered keepers the amount of 1 on 1's they save no matter what you do,and when they save it the ball loops up in the air for a wee header in and the * gets up and catches it really * wae my heid

 

I will buy it at Christmas when it's reduced. I have bought the last few Fifas on release day and then hardly touch them. With GTA5 coming out this year, its the only game i will probably play for a good few months.

 

I think alot of people moan about FIFA just for the sake of it... its the best football game in existence.

I've always preferred FIFA to PES and its North London Reds , the gap will continue to increase into the PS4 era

 

hope they sort out the player career mode as only seem to get offers from former clubs fed up transfering between the same 5 clubs

 

Anytime i score my players then turn to some lower * side, that's what * me off most. Immediately after a goal if i can't ping 4-6 passes immediately then the opposing player suddenly become * like!

Then on the other hand it has an opposite effect and i bang in 3 or 4 goals.. The game currently is pretty poor, but it's all we have so.....

They say it's a momentum thing, well.. how the * do you lose momentum immediately after scoring? I literally can't string a * pass sometimes. Odd.

Anyway fix the obvious scripting and improve the game overall EA.

 

Don't know what's so funny, only one game can have the Premier League license and the EA game got it. For at least 7-8 years Pro Evo was by far and large the superior game. That was pretty much fact.

2k Games have proven time and time again that you don't need licenses to make a good sports game, they pretty much pushed EA out of the NBA market. That would never happen to FIFA though, the market for football games is far too large.

 

EA should join forces with the PES lads and produce a hybrid. And make even more zillions of dolla. Both creative forces could produce the perfect game.

EDIT: Should be said, Konami pretty much dominate the handheld market now.. which isn't huge, but it may be as devices get even more compressed. Smart?

 

FIFA is the better game now, but it has never made a game as good as PRO 5 and PRO 6 and probably never will. FIFA 12 was fun. FIFA 13 not so much. So the gap maybe not increasing this year. FIFA is heavily scripted, the reason I sold mine infact. Now for the first since 94 I'm not playing a football game at all because there pish and more importantly to scripted

 

Pro Evo has a huge market share in Asia and South America as well, which people here don't really know about. Getting really big in Spain now too with all the work they've put in to it, this season they had all 20 La Liga stadiums. Almost all the players online seem to be Spanish.

 

Fair point there. The problem is £££.. Most folk (well this generation) expect licensees. Even in place of solid gameplay.

EA hold the monopoly. I'd rather both games push each other but it's doesn't seem that way, compared to the 05/06 season.. You can see that, with the standards of both dropping. Their both happy with their respective markets. All fifa is now is a COD style cash cow...with added authenticity.

 

So EA are getting rid of their online pass, are they feeling alright?

Their reasoning won't be noble though, they in all probability lost more $$$ than pre-passes, and are reverting back to maximize profit again.

I only had Fifa 13 on the Psvita. I dont think its worth paying £40 for a new one as soon as it comes out.

 

I think ill wait for the ps4 and get it for that

It annoys me that Tottenham are known just as "Spurs" on FIFA.

 

It annoys me that after 20 years of EA making football games, the advert for the new FIFA 14 shows Mesut Ozil score a goal with his right foot, one which he never even kicks with in real life. Countless gimmicks they introduce every year and they never fix this one glaring problem that players have no preferred foot in practice.

 

Does anyone have a video link to actual xbox one gameplay all I have seen is 360 and ps3 videos.
