Been playing Be a Pro all night, * solid.

Idiot full-backs just let wingers pass them without even putting in a challenge - on you go boys up ye go up the wing!!!

Also I made myself a target man striker (like real life ) and therefore I'm slow as anything. Since I'm stuck up front I sometimes our boys just cant keep the ball and can't create anything. Annoying as * sometimes! Lousy Dortmund

 

Lads i desperately need defence help!

I'm skill level 9 but my ratio is 50/50 i started really well like but now teams seem to cut me wide open with * through balls when at first it seemed this was a thing of the past.

How do i set up so my defenders don't * well allow guys in behind? i've tried to manually chase the attacker down but theres always a massive gap lol even if set as counter attack...

What formation and tactics do you guys use? (celtic or below teams only)

 

i know what you mean mate, imo bap seasons has went down hill, when you call for say a through ball or a cross of some sort the players always seem to ignore it and play the harder ball to someone whos surrounded

Ill give it a bash, I was running riot before but now I cant seem to get any kind of passing going in the game. Do you have any work rate changes in this? eg. N'Guemo ''high defending/low attacking''

 

I was exactly the same mate, maybe because it pairs you with the same rank so in effect you get real noobs for the first few levels?

Anyway i'm ripping teams apart again thanks to this and i keep all the tactics as default so basically just change the formation and nothing else. :icon_mrgreen:

 

Will do. Im already sick of playing * Real Madrid every game. Why are people so afraid to go any other team? Most are already better than Celtic but why do they HAVE to be such shitebags and go an unstoppable team.

 

Agreed so annoying them and inter man.. Do you know how noobish it is?
You actually get less points if you win with these teams but if you lose as madrid vrs a 3.5 - 4* team then you lose a bucket load * shows there inteligence eh?

Ok, that formation seemed to work for a couple of games but now im struggling again and losing to Real Madrid etc. What custom tactics do you use Marty? My FIFA 09 super genius ultra high tech super tactics (AKA Celtic Default) no longer seems to work for me.

 

I don't use any mate, sometimes vrs madrid ect i'd start with them set at counter (down down on the d-pad) and if i get a good vibe from the game and foothold then i'll revert back to default and open up.

But tbh with this formation you need to build up that wee bit slower so the ram and lam can get up and support the cf & st.

I found it was great for one twos and when they didn't come off there was 3 of my players waiting to barge n take the ball back.

Tacs aren't fool proof though,this is fifa and it tends to let you go on a run then for 2-4 games after you cant pass for * and the players seem sluggish ect and you either lose or struggle for a 1-0 win. (conspiracy?)

Ps. you could try set it as high pressure? you have two very good defensive midfielders in brown and N'Guemo.. i find going high pressure and team pressing these two in particular shut everything down. Would also mean the ram lam are more advance much earlier but thats risky as these two are key to breaking attacks on the break.

 

came 1st in my cl group of man utd bayern and lyon , signed ricardo montolivo from fiorentina for 13m and sold brown to fenerbache for 17m . Got roma in the cl last 16

 

Yeah I worked that out, managed to get the achievement last night anyway so I'm chuffed.

Now 11 games into my new MM with Accrington, sitting joint top of League 2 but really struggling on legendary due to the * fitness coach and I hardly have money to improve that so my players are nackered every game. I probably wouldn't be anywhere near top if it wasn't for my Virtual Pro who's running an absaloute riot in the league. :icon_mrgreen:
