This is what frustrates me. So many positives, but we’ve needlessly hamstrung ourselves with the keeper.

I agree but I suppose the dissapointmemt is that we started to improve under Ange with finding quick replacements. Jura was quickly replaced by AJ and GG with Oh. The problem is under BR we have not recruited in the areas he addressed as weaknesses or found replacements who match his playstyle in places like LB & def mid.

Only saw the free kick once for the first goal, so may be wrong, but it looked a very soft free kick
Hart effed up in his position BUT the wall was *, so both are to blame from what looked like not a free kick

As others have said, if we had taken some of the money from the bank we could have made more money with the investment- it's like £2m for a win in this competition. A £6m player is 3 wins lol.

No,i think we tested their keeper once(open to correction)imo we never looked like scoring tonight,At best we matched them at times but for the most part of the game i thought they were the more dangerous team and looked more likely to score which eventually they did.

Aye weird isn’t it. Felt weird to type, almost didn’t say Man City.

 

Current state of our team we are simply not up to this level.

Investment needed in priority areas. Just a shame we are skint.........

 

We should have taken points with us. Ref was happy to give us soft yellows while being afraid of the Feyenoord fans. Weal refereeing. Nonetheless, also poor decision-making by both Lagerbielke and Holm. And that's also partly done on the board and Rodgers for our recruitment. Us fans wanted more experienced players for a reason. Tonight showed why, yesterday showed we would have had the funds to do so. But the hierarchies, including Rodgers, thought they know better or just aren't ambitious.

Up until the penalty we did well. But going forward was bad from the beginning. To wasteful and horrible passing. That needs to chance quickly.

Another shambolic european performance as usual.

Watching rte,mention the fact that if a team has 3 or more defenders on a wall the attracting can be no nearer than a meter to the wall,feyanord had a player in our wall by the laes of the game the goal sholudnt be allowed,mad how var didnt spot it.

See for their pen and 2nd yellow for Gustaf, it was the linesman that gave it not the ref so why didn’t VAR give him another chance to look at it? Makes no * sense at all, only football could * up a simple concept of VAR as much as it has.

 

So on RTÉ they're saying the freekick goal shouldn't have stand as the opposition player was too close to the wall. VAR and all this is useless, if the refs don't know the * rules.
