Champions League Feyenoord v Celtic Tuesday September 19th kick off 8PM TNT sports 1

From Bitton starting in qualifiers to Lagerbielke and Scales starting in the CL. In saying that when I saw the team for the bigotdome i was worried but we won. Feyenoord are a different beast admittedly but you never know.

 

I like Yang and what he tries, but he gives the ball away so, so often. Teams like Dundee can't punish us as much from that, but Feyenoord would abuse that and tear us to bits.

Looks the strongest team available to us. I like Yang but I think Palma will give us a bit more strength.

Who's Morrison? Take it he's a defender as otherwise Ralston is CB and LB cover as well as RB.

Iwata is the versatile sub for centre half or midfield, Ralston right back..

 

Think we will get exposed at the back.

Strongest team everywhere else.

No sure how tonight is going to play out but I would bite your hand off for a draw.

A win would be fantastic, but I honestly think if we concede early on we could ended up getting pumped.

 

Even with CCV and Rocky at the back it would be a difficult game and not expecting anything in this tournament but keep the score line respectable.
With the mass of money sitting in the bank and you see Taylor at left back it * you off .

 

I may be wrong but just quickly checked and it seems he's played 90 mins 49 times in the last 4 years. That's roughly 12 games a season in that time.

That's not a lot of football at all, so I'm not surprised he's injured. We've had horrendous luck at the back but maybe we should've signed someone else. Going into this game with Lagerbielke, Scales and Taylor just isn't good enough, but hopefully we'll pull something off.

 

If both our centre backs have the game of their lives we've got a good chance to win

That's because he's mainly at Liverpool and they've got one of the worlds best centre halfs infront of him and others..

He didn't pull up with a muscle injury. It was rolling his ankle which could happen to any player at any time. Just unlucky..

We should've signed a left back but for an emergency type loan, Phillips is quite a high profile, quality one..

 

They've effectively got a 2 man midfield and 4 winger/attacking types with no natural number 9..

We have to try and outnumber them in the middle and counter with pace..

 

Yeah, I noticed they have no recognised striker.

Playing four attackers would probably be a good thing for them going up against a make shift center back pairing and a left back that struggles for pace.

Wind up Maeda and let him loose.
