Ferry in 1st team squad

ferry recieved not bad ratings in the reserves, i know ryan conroy from when he was a youngster myself him jim obrien and zander diamond all grew up in the local area in dumbarton and ryan is a fantastic player and i would love to see him get his chance as i belive he could take it, also get hutchinson in the squad !!!!

 

I dont think Conroy stands out but he is OK. Not sure he is as good as Naylor (I know that sounds weird but he is back on form). Ferry before his injury was being talked about as a sensationally good young player along McStay lines. I saw him play a game for the reserves a few months back before yet another injury setback. I think it was his first in years but you could see how good he is. He has the calm and ability to pick postive forward passes but more attacking flair than him.

Incidentally, what I read more into WGS's praise was a barely veiled warning to other players who are not applying themselves or impressing - guys like Donati and Hutchinson who WGS seems to have issues with. Last week he said of Hutchinson 'he talks a great game but its time he showed he can play a great game'. I think reading between the lines that Hutch may be part of the McGeady big man about time clique.
