i think we can do it ....hope mulgrew,s fit ..id put him as a pairing with wilson...id put paddy on the wing leave commons on the bench..always seems more effective as a sub to me.....i say 1-0 slender win....but we need other options up front hooper being injured proves this ...and rogne back as soon as possible....

    GK - Forster
    RB - Matthews
    CB - Maj
    CB - K. Wilson
    LB - M. Wilson
    RM - Brown
    CM - Kayal
    CM - Ki
    LM - Ledley
    ST - Maloney
    ST - Stokes

I think Maloney has looked really good when he's played altho if Hooper is fit he'd start. Also Commons hasn't been that great recently and having that 4 in midfield like in the OF games last season gives solidity and fight.

    Celtic to go through 2-1.

sammy will play the loan a striker with 5 in midfield

I think we need cha for his pace he had a great game in the first leg and seemed to be the only player who could cope with Sions pace up front

I feel Lenny's instinct for this match will be 4-4-2. He will want to see us come out fighting rather than contain and try to sneak a goal.

As always I'd like to see Scott Brown dropped, but I recognise this may not be the night for that. I don't think he will risk young Adam Matthews in such a big game, so with Kayal back I feel Ledley may drop back to LB. I think Lenny will still be feeling Kris Commons will come good on the big occasion, likewise Samaras, as Stokes' early form has shaded off in the last couple of games.

My prediction for the starting line-up would be:

    Forster
    Wilson Maj Wilson Ledley
    Brown Ki Kayal Commons
    Hooper Samaras

I agree that he will/should play 4-4-2, we need to scire good and early to really put the fear into them. If we score in the first 20 minutes, they will * themselves because they would need 2, so they start pushing ahead and leave gaps. We get an second and it's game over.

kelvin wilson will be able to match the pace if he plays, think cha's rather wasteful when going forward although he has impressed with his ability in getting back recently hmm would like to see

    GK - Forster
    RB - M. Wilson
    CB - K. Wilson
    CB - Maj
    LB - Ledley
    DMC - Brown
    DMC - Kayal/Ki
    AMC - Ki
    AML - Commons
    AMR - Forrest
    ST - Stokes

    Or

    GK - Forster
    RB - Cha
    CB - K. Wilson
    CB - Maj
    LB - M. Wilson
    DMC - Kayal/Ki
    DMC - Ledley
    AMC - Commons
    AML - McCourt
    AMR - Brown
    ST - Stokes

Felt Lennon could have done well with this formation at home to sion, would like to see Forrest giving a run from the start, star in the making ..love watching him play, stokesy needs to remain central at all times or we have no chance of scoring

I hope Kelvin Wilson is playing. If he and Kayal play I predict 0-2 to us.

If neither are playing I am worried about the result.

If Hooper is unfit it needs to be 451 with Sammy up on his own.

if Hooper ain't fit i feel

    AMC - Ki
    AML - Commons
    AMR - Forrest
    ST - Stokes

that gives up enough pace and creativity to cause problems ..surely better than a 4-4-2 with Samaras and Stokes?

Simply rather have Stokes upfront over Samaras if he stays central because he knows where the net is

Samaras has to start up top with stokes, as everyone has said they are a big team. Playing stokes by his self or with maloney is going to be no good !!

the thought of going out to this mob is scary, the manky mob will put a few by maribor, hearts were out as soon as the name tottenham came out the hat, scottish football needs two sides in the europa league...

we thought we would put a few by sion, but at paradise we were unlucky. sion are a good side but surely we are better, an early goal would put the tie to bed i think. but whats the deal with their signings?? cant uefa do something about sion playing players that are ineligible?

but hopefully 1-0 to us, stokes in the first 10 minutes... hail hail... keep the faith
