I think Rodgers will go with these systems here, if it were me it is what I would do, but have the players ready to change system without being told depending on how the opposition line up and start, they might start slow, we might start fast and vice-versa. Today's game isn't about going out to win, we will try to win, but we will play a back 5 I think with the 2nd half/2nd leg in mind. I think the team and formation below will ensure we have a better than good chance to bring them back to Celtic Park and finish them, today is about making the 2nd leg winnable.

Back 5 with Janko and Tierney bombing forward.
Brown will sit in front of Lustig, Ambrose and O'Connell.
When full backs are bombing forward this will allow both Roberts and Armstrong to come into the middle of the park in-case we lose the ball to counter attacks and also penetrate both via each wing and through the middle. Griffiths will chase everything, Dumbelle is not really a chaser, more an 'into feet' player, but could come on last 20 minutes probably and we can throw some decent crosses into Dumbelle.


Without the ball: 5-4-1
That for me is the best 11 from what we have.
I think without the ball we will be a compact, closing down, chasing, 5-4-1.

With the ball: 3-5-2
3 - Lustig, Ambrose, O'Connell - (With Lustig sweeping behind both just in-case)
1 - Brown (sitting in front of the back ^ 3)
4 - Janko-McGregor-Armstrong-Tierney) (Attacking wide and through the middle, as Janko and Tierney will try and get up both flanks)
2 - Griffiths and Roberts (Griffiths and Roberts can both play off the left hand side and shoot and create with the attacking 4)

I think that is our best 11, best tactical choice and best balance in the side.
Would like to see Allan but I don't think Rodgers is being unkind, he is being RUTHLESS, he will go with the 11, even an 11 from last season who all know each other very well but are more in-tune with Rodgers tactics and formations and confidence.

I am going 0-0 or 1-0 Celtic as they have literally NO attackers, so this levels and evens out the defence weaknesses we have, even though 2 from the back 5 are International class player, played at the VERY highest level, Ambrose can regain his confidence as quickly as he lost it, Rodgers is THAT GOOD. They have a few injuries to contend with themselves. With the weather meant to be raining and not as hot I think this could be a leveller for sure.

Hang on to your hats pheeps, this is going to be some game. As said we will slaughter players, love players, hate players, hate the manager, hate the board, hate PL and every possible emotion till full time, then we are all happy or blaming lack of transfer activity. I think McGregor will be a key player for us in an hour and a half from now, probably get man of the match
