It's legit. I doubt that he wrote it himself though.

I got the exact same e-mail. I did notice it was from his yahoo e-mail account and not the record itself. Still would be surprised if he in fact wrote it.

Reply asking him to print an apology in the paper if his comments offended, doubt he will though

Hi Jack,Apologies for any offence caused by my article in Saturday's paper.
As someone with personal family experience of depression I can assure you my aim was not to "mock" a sufferer.
I was merely using this analogy to express my disgust at a letter of complaint being sent to a man (over an honest mistake in a game of football) on the same day it was reported that he, his wife and his children had received sickening death threats.
However, it is never my intention to upset a reader or cause offence and I offer my sincerest apology.
    Yours in sport,
    Tam Cowan

Has the stupid * let all the pies goes to his head? What letter of complaint was sent to Willie Collum? where is the proof that he received sickening death threats? and in what regard is Lennon complaining about a refereeing decision related to him taking the * out the mental illness he suffers from?

That 2 bob bit reply has angered me just as much as his initial article, that's not even close to being an excuse or a reasoning for the pish he wrote. How the * can you possibly be 'disgusted' by Celtic for asking for clarification on a refereeing decision?

What a fat * he really is.

Well at a dinner speach he said his boy was at his first communion so that is why I said he was, and had attended it. so that is why he is a TIM or RC

"Tim" and Catholic are two very, very different things. Unless you regard all the non-Catholics on here and in the stands and pulling on the hoops for our club 'non-tims'?

He is a Motherwell fan and as such he is not a "Tim", and never will be. Celtic are not a religious club. We are not Rangers FC.

Not that it matters what his religion is but just to clear it up tam cowan is not a tim/catholic what ever,i grew up in the same part of motherwell as him and he is not a tim,and as far as im aware he doesn't have a son although his wife is pregenant but i reckon it would be a bit early having a first communion for an unborn child.I usually like reading his colum but his comments on saturday were out of order.
