To be fair, they're both City fans. With a strong Celtic leaning.

Never know what's genuine and what's photoshopped now, but here you go:

They are predominantly Man * fans yes - but both of them support Celtic also.

And - yes, Noel is my preferred pick out of the both.

Never understood why Noel has a big Union flag on his guitar though.

Well, he is British and from Manchester. Not every Celtic supporter has to proudly parade the Irish flag in order to be counted.

Quote from Liam on us from a few year ago and about him dedicating a song to Roy Keane when he signed for us
"Yeah, Bring It On Down. When he signed for Celtic we were playing Glasgow. I like Celtic: my older brother Paul is mad for it. I’ve never been; just watched them on the box. I was just noising them up on stage. To me it’s no different to the rivalry in Manchester; I don’t understand the religious thing. Noel was going mad, telling me not to f**k with it but it was just a laugh."

Robbie Williams is RC aswell as being one of the greatest singers these isles has ever known. I'd guess if he was from the back water that is the west of Scotland he'd side with us. Down where he is from, having a union flag means nothing like what the super uber left wing wana be online 'celtic' comunity thinks it means - blind in its views of wanting to be the complete opposite of what billy says and does up here.

There used to be a video on youtube, may still be but I cant find it where Noel and Liam are in the back of a car being interviewed in Manchester going round places and they drive past a wee music shop and one of them says something like "thats the best music shop in Manchester, were we used to get all the Irish Rebel cds" anyone find it on youtube? tried searching but couldnt see it. Looked like it was from the early-mid 90s.

I'm positive Noel Gallagher also said on an interview somewhere that he was offered the chance to record an official anthem for England last year for the World Cup, but turned it down because he said his uncles would have killed him :56::56::56:

"Rockers Oasis created uproar in Glasgow last night when they dedicated a song to Irish footballer Roy Keane, who has just signed for Celtic.

Liam Gallagher taunted the Rangers fans in attendance before singing 'Bring It Down', saying: "This one's for Roy Keane".

Both Noel and Liam Gallagher are Manchester City fans and would never have dedicated a song to the football star while he was playing with Manchester United.

The dedication sparked jeers from the Rangers fans in the audience, with many of them throwing plastic beer glasses in the direction of the stage.

Liam Gallagher responded by saying: "You can take it, you're grown up, aren't you?" "

The Union Flag is a big symbol in the British Rock culture.

Really? I always presumed it was because he was into a mod/1960s aesthetic, being a musician and all.

See how easy it is to misinterpret symbols?
