How fickle some people can be, having crisis talks midway into the first half then completely changing their mind when we put a few goals in. You probably missed most of the game chatting about it on here, are all your computers like right next to the TV or something? We were excellent all throughout the second half, the finishing just took a bit of time, we had so many chances, even in the first half, we could have put ten past them.

And the guy with the Caley avatar, you talk pure *.

To be fair Falkirk actually try to play some good football so good luck to John Hughes. They were up for the game but once we got going I thought we played very well. I felt before the game we would win but that it would be a scrappy affair. Instead we played some excellent football in the second half and really tore them apart defensively. Has to be a real good confidence booster for the team. Not just a win but a convincing win and good overall performance.

    Cheers Ref!

Well there's 3 goals I never seen coming! I have to say! but as I thought , it would take a small miracle to break THE MIGHTY BAIRNS down! LOL my family are Falkirk fans! You have to admit that before Falkirk had that guy sent off we were not looking to great! YES = Brown was working hard , Donati played well and most importaintly Miller got a goal! But the defence looked a bit shakey and WHERE WAS RIORDAN? Good result! but really was it a lucky result!

Not to put too fine a point on it, we are better team when we are passing the ball. The defenders are not playing enough football and it's obvious we are better when playing through the midfield and not over them, even Naylor is hitting crosses from the half way line. I think a return for Gary Caldwell is on the cards as he is the only ball playing centre back we have. Big Mick and Kennedy are too similar and one of them should be sacrificed. Donati, Naka and Brown can all pass the ball with McGeady needing to improve his overall contribution. We are not far away and just need a bit more of a creative spark.

naw i reckon kennedy has that wee bit more skill than mick....not that mick is bad, he is great, it`s just i`ve noticed the last few games that kennedy can be a bit more silky gettin in an out of trouble, plus runs into midfield better....but mick is the skipper and he does the job.:celt_2:

Brown - 6 Looked good except 1 spilled goal and possibly the goal
Naylor - 6 Ok Falkirk used the flanks well
    Mick - 7 Solid
    JFK - 7 Solid
Wilson -6 Ok a bit better at getting forward , final ball still lacking,
Brown - 7 Good , but hard when played out of position, looks up for it wether its Old Trfford or love Street
Donati - 7 In the holding and passing role he is immense , when he gets up front however he is poor.
Naka- 7 Quiet by his standards. Good goal and good deliverys
Mcgeady - 6.5 Good at times, lacks the spark he had early on last season.
JOVH - 5 Not in the game, not kicked off this season yet imo.
Miller - 9 Brilliant tried everything, set up goals , chances , made runs and scored .

Agree with you totally! Now I ve been saying this since after the home game with AC Milan! JVOH IS !NOT! THE PLAYER SOME PEOPLE THINK! :31: He's big and lazy and reminds me to much of Dion Dublin. Actually , DD worked his * off sometimes! Maybe Shearer... AT 50! Don't get me wrong, if the big man gets a bit more mobile, then I'll start to compare him to Sutty or Big John!
Miller just proved my point in another thread, that he is well in front in the pecking order at parkhead and that he has that Scottish....PASSION, HUNGER,GRIT,DETERMINATION and DRIVE to make sure at the end of the day he knows and the fans knows he's up for the cause and gave his all!
Now.... buckfastceltic ! I mean no disrespect whatsoever! But If if you think the big guy fae fawkirk caused us problems,:97: then I don't wan't to think what Artem Dzuba 194cm RUS , Roman Pavlyuchenko 188cm RUS and Aleksandr Prudnikov 185cm RUS are going to do to us on Wednesday!? And they have a wee Brazilian called Soaresh Moraish Velliton who could cause our inexpierenced(got I cant spell) defence major bother!:fear:
