Yeah good reply by WGS in the ost match interview. Been slagged all game but not allowed to celebrate typical pompous * from the official

Very poor 1st half: not enough sharpness, dodgy passing, not enough closing down, poor undertanding PLUS Falkirk are very good at passing, possession and closing down and are never easy to beat. Second half we got better and better and were excellent in the last half an hour. It would have been 8-1 if we had another 20 miniutes. Player quality eventually shone through over effort and organisation. I have to say this, the smaller SPL teams are getting good at playing this sort of very organised possession, pressing and closing down football and its getting harder to really cuff teams. My ratings (which are really for the 2nd half mainly).

Brown-Very decent looking keeper. Played very well. Will not be worried if he plays on Wednesday. 7
Wilson-Good display. Crossing could still get a bit better 6
Naylor-Poor first half. Much better in 2nd when he realised the ball can be passed inside. 6
Kennedy-Some errors but a lot of good stuff too 6
    Mick-same as Kennedy 6
Donati-Nice play at times but think there is much more to come. Hope he can shoot better though. Not very pacey. As with last week he looked tired after an hour and started making mistakes so question marks over fitness -6
Brown-Some good runs but had a quiet game-6
McGeady-Still playing well. He has learned that tricks have ot be done at real pace and is linking better. Still could do with developing a really good shot and cross but I am really pleased with him after almost giving up on him. 7
    Naka-A class act.-8
    JVOH-Did very well in 2nd half-7
Miller-Did well and now has a goal a game ratio this season!!! 7
Hartley-thought he did well. He came on because Donati was knackered in the last part of the game. 6

Overall, the 2nd half shows what we could be.

Well I watched all of the game and the defence looked dogey but so did the midfield donati had a bad game and put the defence under alot of pressure.

Second half brown played better Donati got worse then when donati was took off all * broike lose for celtic 3 goals in like 10 mins which was what we were looking for so against Spartak I would play:

    Brown

    Wilson--Kennedy--Mcmanus--Naylor

    Naka--Brown--Donati--Mcgeady

    Jvoh--Miller

I think we should play miller becuase I think he played good today he was better than Jvoh and miller could have had 2-3 goals today but thier goalkeeper was good.

Can anyone tell me who got motm I turned the channel over to Sunderland v tottenham and missed it.

Anyone else not think Miller was great? He had a few lovely touches and created a few chances, Unlucky for McGeady not to get the Overhead Kick it was a spectacular effort!

Nakamura is Ghod! Every time he gets the ball he is just so classy.

Nakamura Do Do Do DO! :celt_2:

We were very poor tbh. 2nd half was much improved but still too many players not showing up. Naylor was poor as was JK. how Hesslink won MOTM I'll never know. Brown was very good as was Miller (shock horror!). Decent result to take into the Moscow game but that'll be a whole new kettle of fish.

How the * did he get it he was hardly in the game at all ?

I would say MOTM for me would have been Latapy or Miller, anyone agree ?

If miller can hit in goals this season he could be our no 1 striker with Jvoh.

I have concerns about the Donati-Brown partnership. Brown is fine as the attacking dude in the pair but not so sure about Donati's ability to defend cause his fitness is suspect and his pace aint great and there is a big hole just in front of the defence. Wont judge him or the pairing for a few more weeks but I defo want Sno in there against Spartak. Shouldnt be a problem cause we will prob. play 4-5-1 with Brown with a license to get forward as much as possible.

    ..............Boruc

    Wilson.....Kennedy....Mick....Maylor

    Naka Brown Sno Donati Aidan

Can't believe we need 4 at the back especially at home. Get 3 with wide players bombing on worked for MoN

Personally I think with that formation Miller would be better suited up front. A bit of pace to hit Moscow and the counter and his movement could really cause problems in behind their defence.

You may be right. It a hard choice cause one is great up front on the break solo but the other can really hold the ball up for the midfield to come up. It depends what the Spartak defence is like. One of the Russians said some of their defense is slow so maybe Miller. Not sure, but I think it has to be 4-5-1 cause we look really shaky defending in both midfield and the back. Maybe Miller 1st half to try to knacker them and then JVOH on in the 2nd. We defo want to try and win free kicks in Naka range too.
