we are gettin worse not better , the lack of width really cause's us allsorts of problems at times and makes the fullbacks jobs much harder , its a bad day when Sno * on and had a not bad game compared to the rest of the guff . Brown runs about a lot but give me a hoops top and i'll do that too , 3 points at least and we managed to grind it out is the onlu plus .

    Awfull.

I can accept us being outplayed by the likes of Barcelona for 90 minutes but not Falkirk.
That performance was twice as bad as the one against Gretna.. We were totally rotten.

I wouldn't know where to start with the criticism..

Boruc was our only decent player.

Everytime a ball goes into our box my * cheeks start flapping..

Mcmanus went straight through that Falkirk player in the first half and should have been off.. He may not have had the intent to break his leg but was still verging on brutal and as soon as the very first replay was shown it was clear his leg had snapped..

Im not in the camp that says Donati was outstanding... He had a good first half but was shocking after the break and was as mediocre as the rest of them..

Jan Venegoor is an optical illusion.. He seems to move backwards when he's running.

Brown had his worst game ever.. His close control was non existent and he stupidly went through a Falkirk player at the end to challenge for the ball when it was going out for a corner to us..

I reckon Mcdonald has no faith in JVOH as a striking partner.. Time and again he dropped back to lay the ball off to our midfielders because JVOH just couldn't find himself a yard of space to play him in.. Unlucky not to score when he hit the post but that was JVOH only worthwhile contribution.

As a team we just don't pass and move..

Too many times Donati plays the ball to a player who has a man on.. That can be said of nearly all our players today.. We didn't create space and we didn't seem up for the job.. Every time the ball broke free it was Falkirk who were first to the ball.. We should have pressed for a second goal and killed them off with 10 minutes left.. We simply can't tough it out against these teams and Strachan needs to bring in some steel and some quality..

And having said all that we got let off with some big reffereeing decisions..

Lets hope we don't witness another awfull game like that from our team again..

hey, celtic fan living in korea. Will probably get some backlash from this but this season i have maybe saw 15-20 of celtics games via internet streams and have yet to be impressed in one of them (unfortunaltely i missed the milan game at parkhead) today we looked completely devoid of ideas going forward had no bite in midfield. Im still not conviced by the defence and i think anyone with any bite up front will tear us apart (barcelona anyone)
I was a critic of strachan right from the off, i have had constantly had fellow celtic fans argue that you cant argue with results. in my opinion the only reason we won the league for the past 2 years was down to the poorest rangers teams in 20 years the champions league 2nd round would always have been a given for a team with the home record of celtic but lack of decent goalkeeper often hindered us (imagine boruc in the seville team) I havent seen a spark in midfield since petrov went and both strikers are often inept up front (im aware mcdonald has scored a bagful but look how many he has missed... also does the boy understand the offside rule)

think scott booth put it best today when he said flakirk had murdered us.

surely something must be done here. (im not looking to flame the strachan supporters just came on to voice my dismay at the way the team are playing hope this retains a civil discussion)

You do know its not allowed to praise Caldwell.. He did okay in my eyes too.. One of our positive players when he had the ball but still lacks any quality.. As soon as he gets the ball on the deck his head is up looking for options (unlike Brown and even Mcgeady who get the head down and just run) He tried to get things moving with a quick free-kick and always looked to support midfield on our few moments of attack.. I'd probably say Caldwell was second best to Boruc in the pass marks.

I won't quote all that but I agree with every word.

I would add that Naylor looks like his head is elsewhere. I don't think that he or Donati ever look like they're up for a fight. Naka isn't up to scratch yet and is defo avoiding tackles.

I would have swapped Caddis for Hartley as it was his natural postion after all. Hartley was ok in a limited sort of way...he just kept punting the ball up the park.

When Sno came on I almost died! He wasn't on long eno to do any damage and actually looked more convincing than Donati had the whole game.

i blame the coaches and the manager, there yees go i said it.

whatever they are doing with the players aint good enough and the players are not responding.

thats the worst performance ive seen since wgs 1st competitive game.

away in a stadium like falkirk in this weather isn't going to produce great football, winter is more about getting much needed results rather than playing great football. both would be nice, but if i had to chose one or the other, i'd choose results.

it's funny, was talkin to my mate stephen o'donnell the last day, many of you might know him as one of the irish players on loan from arsenal to falkirk last season and he said 'bet you falkirk will dominate', i laughed, how wrong i was

anyone think naylor in a playmaking role has been woeful an sub par (with a move to pompey on the cards, maybe that's his incentive to put in such a crap performance)[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Sans Serif]?????
