WOW, Lewis Hamilton to join from Ferrari from the end of the 2024 season!

Unbelievable news, that.

 

More exciting than the transfer deadline day pish.

 

Won't do him any good at ferrari red bull will have next 2 or 3 seasons wrapped up

Yeah I seen the screenshots. He's a creepy *. * Spice Girl at home and he's acting like a * teenager.

Obviously we don't know what their relationship was like in real life but it does not look good at all for * Horner or Red Bull.

 

The race on Saturday has nearly. I say nearly got me turning off F1 racing and I been watching it for over 40 years and seen some great races live also.
To have Max 16 seconds clear on lap 29 was it .. it was a * disgrace to have the ither cars that far behind on they many laps .. red bull have really kicked on but Mercedes mclaren ferrari are so far behind its * criminal. They teams should have a good look at their design and management teams.. they are a disgrace

 

Unfortunately, Red Bull are so far ahead in this era and I don't think anything is going to change that until the new regulations come in in 2026.

The 4 main competitors have all made decent progress from last year but Red Bull and Adrian Newey have managed to excel again. Mercedes seem to have a better car to drive, with Hamilton able to trust it a bit better, it means we should see more progress from them. McLaren have great race pace but really struggle in single lap pace, from the likes of Qualifying. They do very well through high speed corners. The Astons have started well again, Alonso looks closer to the Red Bulls again but whether that mirrors their race pace is anyones guess. The ferraris have the fastest one lap car, but their tyre deg is so bad. Got a lot better so far and hopefully they get closer this year but again, will be too little too late by the time these cars improve.

I suspect Mercedes will make huge steps forward throughout the season and will go into the final season of this era far closer to Red Bull. The problem is, they won't have the most successful driver ever in their paddock, which means Max probably does enough.

I suspect Ferrari have already started to invest in their technology for 2026.

 

I think F1 is really boring.
Should change it up a bit.
Maybe split the amount of laps in 2.
First half go normal way then 2nd half going other way round track.
Also, take fastest qualifying time and fastest race lap time in first half and average them out to make starting grid position in 2nd part of race.

 

Random thoughts.

Very few race circuits are safe to run in reverse. They are specifically designed with safety in mind with ample run offs and barriers.

I think they should just put power ups on the track just like Mario Kart.

 

Could do qualifying in a kart then race in f1 car

 

Kart racing is amazing. It is brilliant to watch and probably all the F1 drivers would be aliens in a kart.
